The seating area outside and the swimming pool are really beautiful in a tropical setting. It is truly beautiful with daily visit from monkeys in the morning at the swimming pool. So great to see.

Surroundings feel a bit outdated. And it is not well stated that the bedrooms are separate outside (not handy with small children)

This little slice of jungle paradise is so well designed to complement nature and attract wildlife. The trees and plants are a tranquil sight. We were so delighted to see a group of howler monkeys one morning feeding on the mango trees, so cool! Casa Rosada is really lovely. We enjoyed the comfortable air conditioned rooms and the huge, shaded outdoor dining area with hammocks. The pool was right outside our doorstep and was a welcome relief from the heat of summer. The staff was welcoming and the host Andrés had some great area beach recommendations. Playas Minas and Conchal are a short drive from this villa with easy parking. We really enjoyed our time here!

The villa is not very baby friendly. We had to watch our 1 yo like hawks to keep her away from the gaps in the railing and the steep steps to the pool. The villa is a bit far from any shops and restaurants, so having a car is ideal. The road to Villas la Paz can be very dusty in the summer with a lot of atv traffic creating low visibility. It's also important to be cautious of pedestrians and motorbikes, especially at night.

Away from it all. Easy walking distance to a quiet amazing beach. The pool was spotless, you had monkey business going on in the trees while at the pool. You had raccoons running past on the pathways, some kind of animal playing on your roof at night. It was the best.

There is nothing we didn’t like, a few ants inside our kitchen but we kinda butted in on their spot to begin with right.

Todo el espacio en la Casa Rosada es muy bueno. Cumplio mis espectativas y esta muy cerca de una de las mejores playas del país. La casa es muy comoda para familias grandes y tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar en el lugar. Hay parrilla para hacer asados, hay un salón muy grande para que toda la familia pueda comer junta.

Por ser un lugar donde se puede viajar con familia sería importante colocar mayor seguridad en las gradas que bajan hacia la piscina ya que un niño puede caerse por estas y la piscina no es apta para niños e inclusive para adultos que no saben nadar ya que es muy profunda.

El espacio de las habitaciones y el lugar en general, la atención y la tranquilidad.

La ubicación, muy cerca de varias playas lindas de la zona (Conchal, Brasilito, real…) El dueño nos dio indicaciones acerca de qué playas visitar por la zona. Tiene una terraza muy bonita. La cama era muy cómoda y la habitación disponía de AC. Nos hicieron la colada sin costo extra.

La ducha-jacuzzi está en la habitación y esto nos resultó un poco extraño. El acceso son 4,5km de carretera sin asfaltar.

Excellent location right beside a national reserve park (jungle). Animals came during the night and were not shy to show themselves in our open air kitchen. Pizotes, racoons, monkeys, white squirrels and a crab made an appearance. Five minutes (by car) away from a beautiful beach, in which you can walk safely some 100 meters into the sea and the water barely reaches your chest. 10 minutes from Conchal beach walking along said beach. Staff was super helpful and friendly, Lizet treated us like princes and Andres treated us like kings. Cannot be more satisfied. If you are coming with a bug group, ask for the white house, which boasts a private 12 person pool/jacuzzi. It’s four hours from Alajuela, get a 4x4 if you are coming during the rainy season. Buy groceries to cook your meals, it’s cheaper, faster and more convenient. There is a fully stocked kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, microwave, gas range, gas grill, two full fridges and a free standing freezer, toaster oven, coffee maker (with filters), etc. Rocking chairs, a big family table, chairs and a hammock. If you need something else Lizet or Andres will get it for you. You get your own entrance and parking place. Don’t go by bus. You need a car.

There was a faint moisture odour, but let’s face it… it’s the jungle. What did you expect?
