The grounds were very pretty. The rooms was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the soft cozy bathrobes.

Early check in was appreciated
Owing to last minute booking it was expensive for one night . Not having access to kitchen facilities unless you booked out all hotel rooms . As there was no breakfast options a toaster should be in the rooms .

The property is beautifully quaint and well equipped with facilities to enjoy all year around. Jo was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel at home with a warm welcome.
The aircon is on a 2 hour timer, which is understandable but makes it uncomfortable on hot nights. You have to keep getting up through the night to turn it on again.

Great place. Quiet surroundings, only the sounds of nature, in the morning kangaroos move near the houses. Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, clean. The pool was a bonus. Many wineries nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and would recommend it to others.

Close to many wineries and good coffee cafe enzo. Debbie the host was a very good communicator and lovely. There were a few cavoodles staying there and my dog enjoyed having a play with one of the other dogs.
The air conditioning (heating) turns off automatically after 2 hours. With my partner’s astma it was not great at all. The hot water shower did only cover for 1 person in the morning. Not sure if this was per exception or not. The room was very small for the price we paid, we were expecting a larger room.

Deb was so helpful and gave us great tips for amazing meals and restaurants which we followed faithfully. We were so glad we did! We had the best time away and will definitely be back. Lovely touches like a cheese platter and complementary wine, fresh muffinettes and desert wine in the room were so appreciated. What a gorgeous property too!

Thistle hill exceeded our expectations, the location was minutes from everywhere, or if you don't have a car there are a few wineries within walking distance
We stayed for a surprise birthday. Deb at Thistle Hill looked after us so well. We were upgraded to the villa onsite which was amazing.

Soft Bed. Pool, even though we didn’t have the chance to use it. Common kitchen is nice. Surroundings are nice and relaxing. Lots of chair to sit on and chill outside.

Location was great! On hermitage road, close to wineries and restaurants etc. The pool was great. We stayed in the middle of summer so it was very nice laying by the pool after a day of wine tasting. Breakfast in the morning was convenient and delicious.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times! We had some issues but they were attended to right away. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing location, only a short walk to a large number of restaurants, vineyards and other places of interest. The room was lovely, the gardens beautifully landscaped and the pool was delightful on a hot weekend! (Also loved the breakfast!!!)

It was a great stay, great location an the surroundings were beautiful. It was nice to wake up to the birds an kangaroo’s jumping around. Very relaxing

No complaints about this accomodation! Pool was lovely, furnishings were modern, bed was comfortable and room included everything I needed for a short stay! Beautiful freshly made breakfast was so yummy as well! I used the shuttle service to get to a wedding (for an extra fee) and they were on time and provided great chat for the drive. Would definitely stay here again. Such a comfy, modern and welcoming stay.

The pool wasn't clean, main kitchen had coffee machine which couldn't be used when we wanted, coffee sachets in our room were all expired Kitchen needs to be cleaner. The first morning when our room was serviced only towels were changed no bed made the last morning the bed was made very confusing. Strange set up, there was a reception area, but no one ever there.
We didn't bother with breakfast, there wasn't much of a variety.
Cupboard space is limited. It was a bit out of the way for us. Don't think I would stay there again.

We loved the location of this property such a beautiful set up & so peaceful it was beautiful in so many ways.
The only thing i didnt like was the mattress abit worn out, but apart from that it was great.
