Hot water for shower was very powerful. Breakfast at roof top was highlighted. Rooms were big and comfortable. Staff were helpful to us.Highly recommended for budget stay in central Thamel

Really friendly staff. The owner Dahn was really friendly and helpful with all the questions and requests made. Locacion was excellent. Right in the heart of Thamel. Wifi connection was excellent at any location of the facilies. Breakfast at the rooftop terrace was beyond expectations. By far the best value for money at Hotel Family Home.If I come back I would definitely stay here again.

Dhana was so helpful and kind, along with the rest of his staff. Breakfast on the roof was very nice. We did the EBC trek so we stayed here before the trek and afterward. They took care of our extra bag while we were in the mountains and kept in contact with us to coordinate our return. The rooms are comfy and clean with AC as well. Location is great, next to lots of good restaurants and everything else you’d need.

The couple's room was well managed but the family room lighting system is not reliable. Need to improve it.
There was nothing I didn't like, the room was average for budget travels.

First time here but i’ll be back, place is next to where thane begins and in a quiet side street, when you turn two corners you are right inside thame area. Room is big and bed also ! Ac keeps the room comfy and therooftop is a breathe if you want some air or enjoy your breakfast.
The owner and are very friendly and welcoming and when my flight was canceled they moved my booking without any problems!

The staff is really nice ! The rooms are clean and the location of the hostel in Thamel is perfect ! The banana pancakes are the most delicious of Kathmandu !

Family home has always been my go too whenever it comes to late night stays and the staffs and the place really feels nice and warm like the name of the hotel.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious as well as to good rooftop restaurants. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Really good value for the price. Everything was nice at this hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Spacious rooms, large beds, very helpful manager. Hotel is located in very quiet lane, but is easy to find and near very center of Thamel. We stayed here for second time and will stay again.
