The wilderness and it's away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. So much of serenity and nature with animals. We loved it.
The taste of the water and it was really hot during the nights. The bathroom didn't have much ventilation so there was an odour.

The seclusion and quiet time with no traffic. No Internet didn't worry us. A good supply of books and videos to read and watch in the evening.
It was quite a long trip to Nannup. About 22 klms. But it was worth it as it was a spectacular drive along the Blackwood River Valley. Just a little hard driving back each day in the dark.

Location for cycling - excellant. Beautiful forest and surrounded by birdsong and nature- just perfect
Rusty shower rail and not a fan of shower curtain - bathroom needs a bit of a revamp.
Zero internet in Gillicks cottage but we survived!

A relaxing peaceful venue to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beautiful cottages and location. No phone signal or tv which gives the opportunity to get back to nature and switch off. Little shop also with great coffee!

Payment for extra firewood, should be included as the price of accommodation has gone up significantly.

We loved the quietness, wildlife, boardgames, hot chocolates from the little shop and feeding the animals residing on-site.
Our smoke alarm system was failing, however was fixed quickly after alerting the owners.

Purchasing additional firewood at $17 a bag would become costly if staying for extended periods through the colder winter months.

Beautiful surroundings, the Blackwood River is very near by, the cottage is well equiped, clean and dog friendly. I think the price per night is very reasonable so very much worth booking.
March Flies! but you can buy a very effective repellent @ the little shop and use protective clothing, preferably light colours.

Good location and well maintained. Kids loved the animals.
It was super hot the couple of days we stayed as there is no aircon and no screen on the windows as the chalets are heritage listed and old. Fans couldn't handle the heat and leaving the windows open made the house full of flies and bugs.

What an amazing location. The time and dedication of the owners for the land, buildings and animals was amazing! Certainly family friendly and a 10 out of 10 for magic moments made.
Was sad to go on Sunday morning, we'd only spend two nights ... will have to book a longer stay next time.

My husband and I are loved the seclusion of Lewana Cottages. Our cottage was warm, cosy and very well equipped. It was a pleasure to sit on the verandah in the late afternoon and listen to the birdsong. A peaceful retreat.
The mattress was a little soft for my liking, but that is personal preference.

i had a great stay with lewana estate. i was in nannup for the cycling race that was on. the accomidation was great, it was a little bit too far out for the race but riders came through the estate during the race, i had the fire raging the whole time it was really nice. the only down side was no tv reception but we watched dvds and chilled out.

Had a ball, hosts were lovely, coffee was great, riding was spectacular, the accommodation is all you would need.

Property was just comfortable, clean, friendly. Beautiful location for a peaceful holiday. Love to go back again. Owners were in the area, couple are very helpful with information.
