Everything we could wish for! Beautiful setting for a quiet and relaxing holiday in a spacious apartment set in peaceful grounds, to wander around and enjoy watching the duck family and terrapins. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lovely town of Olhao is only 10 minutes by car.
Nothing to dislike, everything perfect! A car is essential for exploring the area.

Lovely staff. Beautiful hotel, room, gardens. Quiet, peaceful, great sleep. Comfortable washroom. Fast WiFi. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic. Great gem to escape and recharge!

The breakfast was exceptional with a very good spread. There were many options and what was particularly pleasing was the emphasis put on the many healthy options available.
The hotel was ideally situated in a lovely country setting and only about 15 minutes away (by car) from the nearest main town Olhão where there are a large selection of shops and restaurants.
One very pleasing aspect of staying at this hotel was the large amount of wildlife in and around the immediate environment. The hotel had it's own pond complete with ducks and turtles and there was also a wide variety of bird life to admire.

It was my second time at the Quinta dos Poetas. Had been there in 2017 and chose it again for this visit to the Faro area. I just find it a wonderful place to stay, quiet, gorgeous facilities, friendly staff and great breakfast.

Cute apartment with the basic essentials for self catering. Bed is comfortable and the restaurant served lovely meals and good beer. You would need your own car since the hotel is quite isolated.

The staff are very helpful with excellent advice on what to see and do in the area. The room was large and comfortable and the large bath was nice to use. The pool area is relaxing.

Great resort, nice and quiet and lovely to walk around. The pool area was also lovely and not super busy, the staff are really friendly and helpful.
The only minor thing was there were a lot of ants in the property.

The staff are all lovely and very attentive. The place feels a bit dated, but is charming in this respect. Lunch menu isn’t a star, but was well-priced. The pool is extremely clean and just so nice to lay around reading, sunbathing and swimming. Also bonus that you can order drinks and nibbles to your sun loungers! It felt a bit like stepping back in time, but was gorgeous and authentic feeling and lovely a quiet. Very relaxing overall! Definitely draws an older crowd, but is a short taxi away from the amazing restaurants, bars and adventures to behold in Faro!

Motorcycling trip.
This hotel was great. Perfect location. Be aware it’s not with if walks of distance of anything but we weren’t bothered about that. We were able to park our bikes right outside the front. The room was large and clean with aircon. Great buffet breakfast and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English.
I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is a bit isolated, you need transport to get there. Faro is 20 minutes drive away, € 10 with Uber so no big deal.
