The building architecture is absolutely spectacular and is the highlight of the hotel. It is simply a great experience to just walk around the premises and explore every corner, the courtyard and rooftops, filled with memorabilia.
The category of rooms we had did not have windows. The furniture and equipment could be upgraded to today’s standards in India for this category of hotels. The breakfast options were fine but could be easily ameliorated to improve the overall experience.

The place is very posh, elegant and has a nice Indian Colony flavour.
Nothing.

Everything about this place is amazing. The amount of history this place has is amazing. Palace staff is very warm and welcoming.
Being a palace the prices are high but I think the food prices could have been a bit reasonable.

With over Rs 15K per night the property provides a unique experience of old world charm and grandeur.
The staff ensures to cater to your request and making your stay a memorable one. The food was super tasty. The room was beautiful too.
The property has fallen into hard times which can be clearly seen around in the crumbling infrastructure., Maintenance is improper, much of the property is inaccessible due to ongoing renovations. The gym is barely usable.
Most of the time the property is used for arranging functions and parties which takes precedence over hotel guests.
Hers hoping the responsible people take note and push to improve the lost standards of the hotel

Booking dot com charge us higher price than the price available for walk-in guest. However, We were under the impression that you guys provide the best prices. We may not bother you for our future business trips.

Staff behaviour, attitude and service was good.
Most unhygienic and dirty palace rooms I have ever seen. Terrible food quality. Most unkempt housekeeping.

The ambiance is great. The staff is courteous at the reception. The rooms are large. The location is very good.
The rooms are large but rundown. There is a sewage stink in the toilet. There are parts of the room where paint/wall paper is peeling off.
During a prepaid dinner had to wait for nearly 1 hour for things to arrive. Left halfway through dinner. The sofas in the bar are stained and not clean.

when a property charges 10,000INR per night, it shoudl provide an adequate and corresponding facilities: the room was run down, sofa looked extremely cheap (and indeed cheap one: the cushon was moving each time I sat there), and the kettle dirty.
Even 3 star hotels should be far better, and after all no hot water.
But I think I am only one of the few unlucky one: probably they have some nice room because I find many good reviews. But at least my room was completely shabby.
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, they debited the full amount even the day before my arrival! this is not a standard practice of such a level of hotel (this hotel is a palace with 4 starts)!
And they even did not inform me at the moment of checking in about it! IT is really not a correct practice. I am a frequent traveller and have never had such a case! If they debit the amount before your arrival, it is at least on the day of your expected arrival and they inform you when you check in.
General Manager was and is decent man, hence sent me back the second night amount as I did not want to spend my second night in this hotel and I changed the hotel.
But I completely spoiled the morning time of my only day in Bikaner due to the issues of the hotel, hence reduced considerbly my time to visit the City.
What a pity, the palace is a very beautiful one, the hotel could have offered a very good experience if only the room decent and have hot water!

Loved the whole experience as couple.Staff is courteous, experienced and very professionally disciplined. Room was amazing , had historical feel with high rise roof , antique furniture, with seperate changing room and huge traditional designed washroom.
The whole property had an amazing feel, history is nicely showcased and displayed through different art works and royalty rooms displayed.
All in all must visit place to stay and experience. Definitely coming back with my family
Food menu is slightly overpriced but can understand the royalty factor. But atleast breakfast buffet menu could be bit more elaborated.
