I had a lovely 60th birthday at timber hill with a couple of friends
Beautiful location the lodge was spotless everything you need is supplied we asked if we could have a barbecue and the owners gave us a bag of charcoal to go with it lovely people
A walk down to Broad Haven along the coastline is a must.
I highly recommend this place will be going again!

Location was perfect, secluded and quiet within the lodge park but still very close to Broad Haven which had everything we needed during our stay - a shop, a pub, fish and chips, and a beach! The staff at Timber Hill were quick to assist via WhatsApp when we needed anything. Our lodge (39) had a parking spot directly outside which was perfect as we had my Nan with us so didn't have to walk far. The lodge itself was ideal for our stay, we were a group of 5 and it felt plenty big enough for all of us at once. The listing said one room had bunkbeds but actually was 2 single beds which worked perfectly for us. The outside decking was ideal for sitting with a drink to listen to the sounds of birdsong. We would come back in a heartbeat!
Would be good to have more facilities such as a shop/cafe/restaurant on site but that's definitely more of a want than a need as the lodge had everything we needed for self catering

Lovely lodge and comfy beds, very warm and cosy inside. Beautiful walks and very easy to walk down to the beach following the path. Easy check in and out and a little town around 15 mins drive away for a food shop.
No lights on the walkway to the lodge, not disabled friendly. You need basic soap for bathroom, oven trays etc. Bins are a nightmare to work out and couldn’t find which one for recycling - stickers are needed. The WiFi is rubbish for the tv and best bet is to hotspot your phone.
Cleaners outside the lodge at 9.30, watching me pack the car - very uncomfortable experience.

The detached property was well equipped with everything you would need for self catering. With it being this you had all the privacy you wanted. The views of the location was nice right on top of a hill and the place was easy to find.
I went in the winter months but really it would be best going during the summer with the light nights. As the property is a long walk to the local shops along the coast. Doing this at night I would not recommend as there is literally no lights to show you the way, with it being a UK national park area.

I liked how understanding the host was to my concerns re out original lodge. We were offered alternative accommodation. The host was very understanding and helpful. The second accommodation was first class. Beautiful fittings, beautiful gardens. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. This is an escape that we will definitely come to again
The disappointment at the poor quality of the first accommodation

The property was beautiful, modern and comfortable. It is in an amazing location, quiet and beautiful grounds; a close walk to multiple beaches, shops, walks, and the costal path. The property is only a 30 minute drive from St.David’s and Pembroke castle. The staff were so so lovely and helpful and really made my stay special. I’ve travelled to West Wales many times and this has by far been the best place I have stayed.

Almost everything. It was a great cottage and lovely hosts. Really enjoyed talking with them.
The location was also awesome.
I can't think of anything.

We loved the lodge, perfect for the two of us and our dog. So peaceful and the surroundings were just amazing. The sofas and beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Really felt like a home for our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful location
In our Lodge (no 2) the main heater in the living area wasn’t working so the cabin was extremely cold late night and in the morning, only the Tv in the living area had an aerial connection therefore the Tv in the double bedroom could not receive live channels.
There was quite a lot of mould around the bath underneath the shower head.
On our second night it rained heavily and there was water all over the floor from the leaking front window overlooking the porch area, so we had to use our towels to soak up the water.
Some kind of lightning by the steps dropping down from the parking area to the pathway that leads to the cabin would also have been helpful as my wife could not see the two steep steps after dark and lost her footing, she fell over resulting in a sprained ankle and a bruised wrist.

Loved the setting and position of our cabin
Beautiful grounds and great to see how wildlife is respected. Ponds were gorgeous. All surfaces clean but settee and carpets stained and grubby- clearly not the fault of the cleaners - end of season issues maybe. Overall we were delighted with Timber Hill.
Bathroom needs TLC-cracked toilet bowl and rusty towel rail but clean and functional
Stained carpets a bit off putting but honestly+ our stay wasn't affected by that

Fantastic location - quiet, private and perfect for exploring the local area. We loved the wonderful woodland walk to the beach and all the lovely walks around the site we could take the dog. We would definitely return!
Minor gripe: my daughter said the bunkbed mattress was a little lumpy.

Beautiful villa, we were blown away by the size, it was perfect for our family group of 9. It was so clean and so well maintained. So much outdoors space for the kids to explore, they also had so much fun in the hot tub. It was a great location with the beach so closeby, we would love to go back again for more family holidays.
It was perfect!

Location and host was very helpful
Lodge was in need of a refurb, some mattresses needed replacing and wifi was pretty much non existent, despite paying for the premium.

Clean, comfortable and excellent location.
A great base for exploring the area.
As the weather was unseasonably cold, we were really grateful for the electric heaters.
Wardrobe door and draws were a bit temperamental, thought they might break.
