The room was well appointed in the style of the property, bathroom great and the location being 1 block back from the township and across the road from a beautiful park. Great upstairs veranda open to everyone with views over the park, nice outdoor furniture and an ice machine! Cafe in the garden area (not part of hotel) serving great breakfasts and coffee.

Being on the intersection of highways, there was some traffic noise, but the windows did provide significant noise reduction, so not really an issue unless you are a very light sleeper.

This is a hidden gem of Mudgee accommodation! Loved everything and will stay again.

Great old world charm with a cafe in the courtyard for a delicious breakfast. Great spot.

Away for the weekend with a group of friends. Very happy with the Parkview hotel even though I believe the price was rather high for country NSW. Could have had a Sydney Harbour hotel for cheaper. Location was great, can stroll into the shops and pubs. If you stay, try and get an upper room as you have direct access to the balcony. Great for pre dinner drinks and watching the world go by.

Breakfast wasn't included for the high price. Went to the Cafe attached to the hotel and paid $13 for two, not very good scones. If you are after breakfast, walk into town and try one of the cafes. 5 minute walk to Cades Kitchen & Bar which had great breakfasts. Found everything expensive, the term Mudgee Tax was used a lot.

The noise! Coming from a rural area we did not expect the room to be so noisey. Had I have researched the location better I would not have selected this accommodation. Located right at a busy intersection was not pleasant..heavy vehicles and high vehicular traffic certainly did not translate to a cosy and relaxed rural accomodation. The fact that there is a busy coffee shop downstairs that was packed by 8.30am and the loud music eminating from either the coffee shop or cleaning staff - however, I am not sure if this was only due to a working weekday or if it is like this everyday.
