The room was smaller than I thought it would be. Shower was a bit fiddly to get a decent temperature. The toast at breakfast was rock hard

A fantastic and extremely welcoming hotel, all staff were friendly and helpful, even up to the point where they had to rearrange a couple of reserved tables to accommodate my family and I, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend The Church Inn to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel in an excellent location

The Church Inn has character , atmosphere but not noisy , lovely staff , and our room was just what we needed and nice and clean . The bonus was a balcony and nice interesting view at the back

Central location. Excellent options for dining. Balcony gave great views of church and Shropshire hills. In room facilities of very high quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Some people may find the close proximity to the church with its bells and clock off putting - especially if you like a Sunday lie on!
