An excellent hotel that deserves more stars. Breakfast is good and filling, I ate pie every day with pleasure. Kind and helpful owner who helped me out 2 times when I asked to change the booking dates due to problems with logistics and bus schedule. Luigi, thank you! Rooms on both sides of the hotel are excellent, either with balcony and lake view or mountain view. My room was not big, but comfortable for one person and clean. All week it was about +30, it is comfortable to sleep even without a fan, if you completely close the window for the whole day and open it at night. City bicycles are good, you can take them any day, but they are comfortable to ride only on asphalt. The location is good, next to a bus stop and a few cafes, but I usually took only gelato there. I liked Malcesine most of all for lunch and dinner, where there are more cafes and restaurants.

Surprisingly only one electricity plug in the entire room. Unfortunately, the single rooms don't have a balcony ;-)

The single room was with a foldable bed and there was little space for a big person. But okay for one night.

Very nice place, I felt like at a family house. The breakfast was great, the place i fantastic.

Staffs are very friendly. Parking was easy. Room was ok, we liked the balcony. Breakfast was ok.

Facility was a bit old and no proper blankets were provided. The shower wasn’t that nice or comfortable. A bit expensive for what we get and disappointed with the stay as it wasn’t really a 9.0 as shown on booking.

Great breakfast and surprisingly comfortable bed

One of the best hotel room views I have ever experienced. Everything was perfect, the location, the free private parking in the olive garden, the bars, restaurants and supermarkets around. You can either walk to Malescine along the lake or take a hike through the woods, the hotel is a great starting point for both options! Only praise for this hotel!

Small family hotel where we felt very welcomed. We had a sweet room with a breathtaking view to the lake, breakfast was abundant and we were allowed to enjoy it at our balcony. Bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. Every team member was smiling and helpful. Only for the service this hotel deserves few more stars.

This family run hotel is awesome! We had a beautiful room with a patio overlooking the lake for great sunsets!! Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Their breakfast was delicious and had everything you would want. They also had free town bikes that made travelling along Lake Garda very fun. I highly recommend Hotel Carlo as it's an exceptional value.
