The view is amazing from the room. the hotel is located on a small hill and surrounded by big mountain 🏔.

Our host and hostess and their family worked extra hard to make our stay wonderful. They even printed a daily suggestion list on the activities that were suitable for the weather. We were treated like king and queen. The service was better than family. We wish we stayed longer

Staff was awesome. Excellent breakfast. You can eat on premises, we meals prepared by the owners. We only did that once out of three nights because we were out and about. But, the meal was excellent. It's out of town from Berchesgaden about 5 mins, but it's nestled nicely part way up the mountain. We stayed here back in 2008. It's under new management, but still pretty much a mom and pop place. We love these kinds of places.

Great staff, delicious breakfast and dinner, warm and comfortable room, a little outside town where it was quite and the breakfast area was cozy

Parking at times was a challenge due to the space available and overall layout, and the shower was rather petite, but these were all expected.
