Purely use this location as it’s close to the Mach loop, I do aviation photography and it’s perfect for a majority of locations nearby. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and I’ll be using it again around July time!
Bed was a bit creaky but nothing too drastic

The location is perfect, the room was clean, quiet and comfy. Although we did not have the breakfast due to being up and out before Y Sospan opened, we will definitely be back, therefore to take advantage of this.
Although we did not meet a single staff member ( not a problem as we have spoken plenty of times in the past ), whilst booking and confirming, the staff were attentive.
The ONLY things we found a slight concern are that the shower head did not stay in position on the middle to high shower setting, and there definitely needs to be a wall separating the shower from the shelf, as when you take a shower all the water collects on the back, and floods the shelf and floor.
Towel was soaking wet by the end of day 2. If the shower issue can be rectified, this would be a 10/10.

Simple and straightforward arrival, check in room cleanliness, facilities although the shower cubicle is a little small but managed perfectly fine, bonus was having a fridge in the room, the heating was effective, car parking close to. Absolutely spot on. Good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Loved the room, the mini kitchen, the location, it was just marvelous!
As with all other stays, the bed was too soft. A personal thing I know, but a firm bed would have made our stay perfect.

Handy for the local walks and a small town
No kitchenette in the room even though the generic description did mention it. We were given the use of the bunkhouse kitchen so not a real inconvenience.

The bathroom had no plug in the sink, the skylight was full of cobwebs and flies. We did not see a single member of staff.
We have stayed here before and last time had a hob to cook breakfast so expected the same thus time.

Lovely building handy location quiet
A little attention to cleaning needed. Fridge noise and noise behind door possibly boiler running on and off all night. Room a little tired more attention to cleaning around cupboards and bathroom fittings

Location was beautiful and very quiet.
We felt there should have been an allocated parking space for the rooms, coming back at 9.00pm after going for a meal we had to park in the field near the horses.
Lighting in the room could be much better.

We arrived very late but since it's a self check-in everything went smooth. Easy parking. Wifi worked well. The appartment was big enough for the three of us. Great surrounding. So quiete to sleep. Very good beds and pillows.
Some screw fixations were visible were you could hurt your feet.
Since this is a protected property nothing can be done to the building which means that you don't have a lot of windows. But this enhance the charme.

Good location.
Feel a bit ripped off, you'll get more for your money at a Premier Inn.
Bedroom was clean enough.
Bathroom wasn't great, shower falling apart.
There was a hole in the bedroom wall right next to the door that anyone passing by could peer through, had to fill that up with tissue paper.
Could hear rowdy guests in the neighbouring room well past 11pm.

Spacious with good countryside views
Very dark inside with poor ventilation.
Walking across to town poor, a 20min+ walk on verge/ open road. No paths.

The cottages are delightful, comfortable, well designed , with great amenities and stunning views.
I really haven’t got a bad word to say about this accomodation, for the price it was unbeatable and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to visit the area.
We didn’t get offered use of the hot tub which was disappointing , if I ever return I will be using it !

really good value, great location, lovely quirky old cottage with low beams etc, nice setting, nice and quite, very picturesque, looks like a great campsite/ caravan park too.
nothing major couple of minor niggles which can be easily sorted going forward. I put my jacket on top of the hanging spaces and it ended up with a lot of dust on it. There was only decaf coffee and ended up walking around the site for a while but found someone who was very helpful and got some caffeinated coffee straight away. The extractor fan in the shower was half hanging down, functioning, but hanging down. The taps need re-washering as despite turning them they wouldn’t turn off fully. I think there was a communal living room but it was unclear so didn’t feel comfortable going in, if it is a communal sofa space then just let the guests know, maybe a sign on the door. It would be great if there was a communal microwave and resupply of items (like coffee and milk etc).
