Fabulous beach style hotel. Super clean and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is literally on the beach which was fantastic. Just be aware there's very little in the form of restaurants and bars and the hotel themselves only do breakfast so you'll need to get your own stocks. Saying that, there is a fantastic mall called Las Ramblas which has a variety of excellent restaurants, a supermarket and a wonderfully stocked bottle store. It's easy to get to via uber. Cartagena old town (definitely worth it) is a about 20 minutes away via taxi so Manzanilla del mar beach is a trek out of the tourist destinations but this does make it more authentic and special. The staff at Kohsamui went above and beyond for all their guests whilst we were there and Yuris (I hope that's her name )in particular was so helpful. If you want a truly peaceful beach experience in comfort and with privacy, book here!!! We booked the top floor which gave us complete privacy and awesome views!! Highly recommend this beach hotel.

The beach hotel is amazing but there is no restaurant or bar at the property. There are separate restaurants on the beach.

Loved this place! Right on the beach, quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff. Yuris, the manager, was fantastic, kind and very helpful. The room was big, clean and bed was vey comfortable. AC worked very well and the wifi was solid. Fantastic ocean view from the balcony. Breakfast was also great! We stayed here for 4 days on the top floor and it was tough to leave. Highly recommended. Good for families, individuals or couples. Stylishly decorated and just a great place to spend a few relaxing beach days!

Loved the breakfast and location. The shower was a bit surprising as there is no temperature control. But it is super chill and lofty. I liked the spot.

Not a lot of food options for dinner but it was low key and fine. Ordered local food for delivery. Make sure to have cash.

Everything was great

This location is very unique , it tucked away right on the beach in the middle of the community. The people are very nice and the breakfast was great and restaurant right to the left of the location is superb. Waking up hearing the ocean waves is so tranquil , it hard to describe . I felt safe and comfortable the whole time . The hotel staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you . All you have to do is ask.

Everything was great , the mall and store is a 10 min cab ride , there are small stores around the hotel , and there is a small expat community developing around there . There is nothing not to like being 100 feet from the ocean.

We stayed in the top level bungalow sweet. It was lovely. Huge spacious room, hardwood floors, king size bed and fridge. It has a huge balcony that overlooks the ocean: the perfect place to relax and read a book or sip a cocktail. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast served onsite is delicious.

The stairs up to the room were a bit treacherous. Also, the property is way off the beaten path (which may be what you want) but activities and dining options nearby are very limited.

Really a nice hotel right on the beach. Very relaxed and nice staff.

However, there was only one place to get some dinner. A local place with Comida Rapida which was good and had truly great pizza! (El Punto en Carrera 7) but for anything else you would need a taxi or a car.
