They didn't find my reservation so I had to pay a bigger amount

This was a very clean and neat hotel. It was the nicest bed and linens I’ve had in Mexico. The staff was great, especially Mitchel. He helped me with lots of valuable advice and information. The housekeeping staff was also very good. I left I a hat in the room when I left to check out. Before I got downstairs they had already called front desk to tell him they were bringing it down to me. The brick curling in the lobby lounge was very nice. Location: I was able to walk to Mercado Juárez in 30 seconds, Teleferrico in 3 minutes, Plaza de Armas/Museo Arocena/Canal de la Perla in about 5 minutes walk. The fútbol stadium is way far from the city center, but that is very common. Luckily there is UBER in Torreón, but it is kind of underground. So your drivers need you to sit up front, and they may not drop you immediately in front of bus station, which is also pretty far from city center.

The shower. No hot water and no water pressure. Just a dribble of water to get under, only by squeezing up against the wall. But, it’s Mexico! We can’t expect everything we are used to in Estados Unidos. Just another precious memory from traveling. Oh yeah, the sink was very small, more funny than bad.
