The hosts welcomed us with homemade lemon cake! The house was spacious and oozed with old time charm. A balcony and two patios with breathtaking views of the bay and nearby historical monuments. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay however it was not what I expected. The furniture needs to be replaced due to wear and stains. The bed pillows were flat as pancakes. It was stoked well with dishes and coffee maker. Balcony views are amazing.

Do not be guided by the photos, it is a scam, everything is dirty, horrible, it smells old, everything is dusty, the sheets with page I sent a photo of the disgusting to it and it did not matter to him do not stay here it is the worst thing I have rented

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l appartement de Georges Très propre et confortable et a 15 minutes à pied du centre historique, de la plaka et de l acropole. Jolie vue partielle sur l acropole également et sur la mer depuis le balcon.

Great. I would reccomend this to other people.

Apartment is very clean and comfortable with 3 bedrooms an a nice living room. 8th stair with lift: nice view! Not so easy to find a parking place outside, but if you have no car, this is an optimal location. Host is available and very accomodating. Excellent quality/price in Athens.

This apartment was a great home base for our family traveling from the USA. Everything you need - just bring your food! Neighborhood coffee and bakery shops are only a few blocks away. Ubers were easy to get and the Acropolis and Market shops were only a 4 Euro ride away. George was prompt in his replies and service was top notch!

We were very delayed by a meeting at a school for our daughter, in picking up the key from George's assistant, but he was accommodating, despite the late hour. While the view to Acropolis is slightly blocked on one side (due to a new high rise construction and no fault of the owners) the view of Athens on the other side is beautiful. You can see the sea from there. Although our flight attoved late at night, we had easy checkin. The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood from where you can walk to Acropolis (or Uber for < 4 euros). Bus stops are conveniently located, about five-minute walk (learn the exact locations, as roads are one way). The nearest metro stop is about nine-minute walk.

Très bel appartement avec une vue magnifique

Vorteile: Der Blick von den beiden Balkonen in zwei verschiedene Richtungen ist wunderschön (oberster Stock des Gebäudes). Anders als auf den Bildern sieht man die Akropolis allerdings nicht vollständig, sie ist teilweise durch ein anderes Gebäude verdeckt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig. Zwei Badezimmer mit Toiletten sind praktisch. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter (er besitzt offenbar über 100 Ferienwohnungen in Athen) bzw. seinen Leuten ist einfach, schnell und angenehm. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann von hier aus (durch den schönen Friedhof) in gut 20 min. in die Altstadt und zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gelangen. Der Weg zur etwa 10 min entfernten Metrostation neben befahrenenen und engen Straßen ist weniger schön. Unsicher fühlt man sich in Athen praktisch nirgends, in dem typischen Athener Wohnviertel, in dem die Wohnung liegt, ohnehin nicht (weniger zu empfehlen ist die Gegend um den Omonia-Platz, jedenfalls abends und nachts). Nachteile: Die Wohnung ist eher schlicht eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist bescheiden: nur fünf Messer für sechs Personen, kein Schneidebrettchen, ein sehr schlechter Korkenzieher, Spülmaschine ohne Salz und Klarspüler spülte gegen Ende nicht sonderlich sauber. (Uns war das nicht so wichtig, dass wir deshalb bei den AssistentInnen des Vermieters angerufen hätten.) Immerhin gab es einige kostenlose Nescafé-Kapseln, die für die ersten zwei Tage gereicht haben. Das weiße Sofa war so dreckig, dass wir es mit einer Decke überziehen mussten. Auch in der Küche und in den Bädern wurde nur sehr oberflächlich sauber gemacht. Die Markise auf dem großen Süd-Balkon ist defekt, weshalb er selbst Ende Oktober tagsüber wegen der großen Hitze und hellen Sonne nicht zu benutzen war. Es funktioniert nur eine der vielen Außenleuchten. Die Matratzen sind eher weich, aber nicht unbequem. Straßenlärm ist in einer Großstadt sicherlich nichts besonderes.

The metro and tramsystems were excellent and really easy to use. The payment machines also explained everything in English too. The apartment had a good overall finish but has a few maintenance issues. These being light bulbs not replaced, the controller to the air conditioner not calorbated to the unit, nowhere to fix shower head so you cannot shower at full height without putting the shower head down. We had an amazing 5 day stay in Athens and throughly enjoyed our site seeing, meals out and whole cosmopolitan feel of the place

What a fantastic view of the Acropolis and the city as a whole! What an awesome place to have dinner as the sun goes down than the patio. This is on the 8th floor, the tallest building around. Took an Uber down to the square for a walking tour by a local downtown and into one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and afterwards visited the Acropolis and walked back to the apartment. Great time. There is a small carry out restaurant called Clara Bell just a block away. Great kabobs, gyros, Greek salad fast and friendly.

Spacious, lovely views all around, wonderful patio, great beds, fluffy towels, easy walk to metro. Enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

Appartement répondant parfaitement à l’annonce. Un gérant qui s’est montrée disponible. Une belle terrasse . Supérette assez proche permettant de faire les courses. Nous recommandons ce lieu .

We ended up not staying as the area was not good. Homeless people, graffiti everywhere, buildings run down. Didn't feel safe.

Cet appartement a tout ce qu'il faut pour réussir son séjour à Athènes, de plus le propriétaire a été très serviable en nous permettant de disposer de l'appartement un peu plus tôt et d'y laisser nos bagages.

We stayed in George’s apartment as two couples. Our three nights there were very comfortable, using two of the three bedrooms. It was great to have two full bathrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable, as pictured. We did have to ask for a few basic things... toilet paper and dishwasher detergent, but they were delivered to us quickly when we asked. We walked everywhere, using the apt as a hub for touring Athens. It’s twenty minutes to walk to the centre of the old town. Easy access to everything we wanted to see. The view of the Acropolis is very small... just in the distance from the second bedroom window, but the apartment is located close enough to many views from restaurants, rooftops, and tours. George was a great host, always available to answer our questions by email or through his local manager, and arranged our transfers efficiently, as planned. We’d recommend staying here for anyone who wants to experience Athens in a lovely apartment!

George is very helpful, he arrange our airport transfer, every drivers was sharp on time. The apartment is at 20 minutes walk from Plaka, nice and quiet location on the top floor of the building. Nice view from the balcony. Nice air conditioning, comfortable bed and warm water in the showers, we can't ask for more... I recommend this location.

This is a very comfortable apartment, with plenty of space and nice balconies on which to sit out and view the city. Well positioned close to a metro station and supermarket and nice to return to after a busy day in the city. A shower curtain in the main bathroom would have helped and the holder for the shower head in the other bathroom needs fixing, but other than that a great holiday accommodation that I would recommend and return to.

Apt condo was decent with very nice views of Acropolis and back area of city. Host service was very professional and responded quickly and arranged transportation to And from the airport. Close to train and bus as well as local restaurants (must visit Thomas Taverna- absolutely best food and service, although nothing fancy but again best best food and service). Beds were decent and space was adequate for 6 adults. Only downside were bathroom showers in both. Shower heads were unable to mount so unless you sat down you only had one hand to wash up. One of had bathrooms also had no curtain which caused a lot of water to spray out causing the doors to swell up and making it very hard to close. Couch in living room was a bit old and uncomfortable.
