Zeer aangenaam, kleinschalig hotel met alle faciliteiten. We hebben er ook lekker gegeten 's avonds. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor het zwarte woud, maar ook om Europapark (op 15') te bezoeken. Ettenheim is een prachtig, Duits dorpje met smalle straatjes en typische huisjes. Heerlijk om in rond te wandelen. Parkeren kan gratis op de 24u-parking iets verderop. Aan het hotel heb je een parkeerschijf nodig en mag je 1u staan. Alles was prima in orde. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, dat Engels spreekt. Het ontbijt is basic maar lekker en goed. Alles was beschikbaar. De kamer was klein maar voorzien van alles wat nodig was. Stopcontacten aan het bed waren ook voorzien. We hebben kunnen inchecken via de sleutelkluis omdat we later waren dan de normale inchecktijden, ook dat was geen probleem. Via de bookingsite werden vragen snel beantwoord en werd de code van de kluis ook gegeven.

Bed was wat hard, maar ondanks dat hebben we er goed geslapen.

The breakfast starts at 8, but Europa Park opens at 8.15, so there is no time to eat it. I didn't even find that information on the reservation; it was a nasty surprise in the morning when the host slammed the door in my face and asked me to return later.

Friendly staff helped me check in late by opening and calling out the window. Nice breakfast and service, along with cute rustic amenities right in old town.

WiFi access wasn’t obvious on the first day, and dropped a lot afterwards. Could have more clear info on parking provided in advance.

Nice structure in a small village, used as a base to go a couple of days to Europa Park, in the nearby village. Very nice place and comfortable host.

Not a big choice for breakfast, especially for the coffee-based drinks. The room was very warm and we had to sleep with open window.

the room was clean. the waitress was super nice. the breakfast was good and generous.

we arrived at 8:30 pm and the welcome was a reproach saying we should have called if we were to come after 8pm (we were not aware it was an issue for the owner). there was no soap. we used ours. the bill was unclear. we were 3 (2 adults and 1 child). they charged for 5 breakfast and explained they could re-edit the bill with the correct number of breakfast (we realized the mistake after paying and leaving). according to them, the amount was correct and depended on the fact we booked on booking.com and they had to pay a fee for their services.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, and really lovely evening meal.
