Freundliche MitarbeiterInnen und angenehm, dass man sich jederzeit kostenlos Kaffee, Tee und Wasser nehmen konnte, trotzdem kein Frühstück angeboten wurde.
Sehr kleines Zimmer und der Fußboden war nicht ganz sauber, ansonsten okay.

Spotlessly clean. Basic but comfortable. Helpful receptionist who directed two very tired travellers to a nice neighbourhood restaurant which restored us substantially!

The staff, especially the lovely Italian woman, at the front desk and the other person at receptionwere really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was nice - in the Scandinavian tradition - unsual/exceptional was some of the jam which was home-made and the honey comb from the hives behind the hotel.
The general ambience is calm and pleasant, if of fairly basic quality - much of the furnishings/fittings seem to come from Ikea, so may not last for very long.
The bathroom was (or seemed) larger than the bedroom and was very nice and clean. The bedroom was quite small and basic but ok for a short stay - but you 'couldn't swing a cat in it' (as one character in a Jim Jarmush film put it - although he was talking about a prison cell ... :-)) The lighting in the room was rather sparse - a table lamp would make it cosier. There was only a ceiling light.

The location is somewhat on the outskirts - but well connected by tram to the centre. However, the hotel is on a busy road and seems quite loud at night. So, best to take ear plugs (BioEars work really well.)

Breakfast was very good for a small hotel. Good range of stuff.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Honesty-basis self-serve drinks fridge (open all hours) a great & generous solution for a small establishment

Small room with no mod cons was a bit stuffy in hot weather.
No bedside light in my room
Bedrooms and some features like doors could do with a little bit of a touch up (repainting, new wallpaper, etc) but were generally clean.

Olaf was super helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast and honesty bar, there’s a little terrace and a pool table. Everything was great. We were there for Documenta festival and it was easy to get everywhere by tram or leisurely walk

Next to public transport which takes you to the city centre in just a few minutes. Good bed, spacious bathroom, cosy lounge area (though it was closed due to COVID-19). The staff is very friendly and helpful and called us in advance to inform us about the current COVID situation. Definitely worth the price!
The view from the location isn't great (next to a busy street / far from the city centre) but they still managed to create a cosy atmosphere in the hotel.

The very uncomfortable beds ,very hard ,and only one pillow is not enough,so should small extra one pillow.
