It is a nice old building, the room very spacious, the owner is warm-hearted and helpful, he carried our 2 big luggage by himself to 2nd floor

The hotel is very outdated.

This hotel was our best stop during our 3 week trip around Europe, The hotel was comfortable, spacious, and the breakfasts were great. The Waldfriede was superior in a lot of ways, but by far the best part was the staff. The manager, handyman, breakfast preparing guy, was really awesome. I hope to come back to the area in the near future to have a beer and chat with him again.
It's hard to really find much fault with the place, They clearly and honestly list that their wifi isn't the best, I hope they can improve that for a future stay.

Breakfast was good: bread, cheese, fruitjuice, jam, marmalade, tomate, cucumber, coffe, tea

Room well-cleaned and equipped for a minimal stay : beds, small tv, hairdryer, towels and bath articles.
Please remember to call / say you arriving time before going. We were lucky and found Mr. Scharf there when we arrived without calling him before.
It's a beatiful old house from 100 years, renovated as hotel, therefore you can find things like: squeaky floor, light from corridor through main door's room, bath doors not closing correctly at the first time.... It's a matter of taste. These things dont bother us.

service an hotel itself a+. Really romantic big rooms. Location great and staff very helpful and polite!!
Only the shower facilities could be a bit more upgraded, but it worked fine. The water was hot.
