Beautifully presented guest house near to the centre. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Great selection of breakfast on offer and freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend and stay again .

I came in late from a long flight and being able to settle in for the night at Eildon House was everything I needed! We felt so refreshed and rested and had a lovely breakfast before we went on our way.

Clean, convenient and friendly

Overall, a nice place and a nice stay - good breakfast and a convenient location for getting around the area. Reasonably priced.

compact room had a small bed - double not queen. Didn’t have a lounge which would have been nice since we had a compact room.

Bathroom was updated and spacious and the room was comfortable with ample room for luggage. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Big and clean room. Very tastefully decorated. We really liked the bathroom, it look brand new and recently renovated. Location was good, near the city center. Hostesses was very polite and helpful. Plenty of choices for breakfast.

Pressure of the water in the bath was a bit weak.

Extremely clean and efficient space. Super host attended to breakfast requests and was very attentive.

Coffee could have been better

Everything about Eildon Guest House exceeded expectation. The whole house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The bathroom facilities were fantastic. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful............ All in all, fantastic value for money...........Oh, and the owner could not have been more hospitable!

It was well situated for walking into town. It was faultlessly clean and comfortable and very traditional. Our hostess was an absolute joy, very friendly ,helpful and obliging.

A little traffic noise, but we had the windows open, there was no noise when they were closed.

Beautiful guest house, great location as not far to walk into town

Everything was fantastic. We will want to stay with Jacqueline again as soon as possible! Everything from the location to the food and hospitality was spot-on. My wife comes from a hospitality background and could not say enough the amount of good that Jacqueline is doing. Everything was extremely organized and clean and the necessary steps were taken due to COVID.

First class breakfast plenty of choice, cooked breakfast piping hot. The host was fabulous couldn't do enough always available if needed. Accommodation first class would definitely recommend. Will be returning again.
