Best little hotel I’m Kampala

The hotel is tucked away in a lovely, lush garden. It is impeccably clean and offers a quiet escape. The staff were helpful and accomodated our requests which made our stay even more comfortable!

Nice rooms, nice location.
Good to stay here after a two weeks roadtrip through Uganda!

The room was really nice with open shower and a bath. We had a noce view on the city.
3 choices of restaurant on the site and a mini market store.
Great massage also.
The noise from the nightclub at night.

I like everything they offer.
The only thing I notice is, they don’t use caution when the floor is wet.
10.0
The fact that you get late at the hotel and you don’t get room service. Although you have wonderful restaurants and la patisserie in the same complex, people do not get a chance

The facilities are perfect and clean
The swimming pool is small
The breakfast is very average

Das Village Concept. Barbara at the SPA was excellent!
David showed up,10 minutes late and never apologized for his tardiness.
My goodness! Here.the guests are second class.
Zimmer war alt und viele Dinge hat nicht funktioniert.
Keine Air conditioning, Safe did not work. No hot water.
Despite several attempts to have it repaired, not done promptly.
Safe never repaired.
Bathroom old and dirty, especially the toilet brush.
There was a function event over my room. Lots of noise all day Sunday from am until 9 pm.
No one warned me.
Not once did they provide me with a manage‘s name. I found Brian Jjuuki on Linkedin and still no response.
On Monday, they offered me a new room.
Weird attitudes, always laughing and smiling when I was not happy.
Will write Patricia G. This week.

This hotel is an oasis in the true sense of the word. You'll look forward to getting back when you've been out and it will leave you so well fed and rested that you'll be ready to take on Kampala again the next day.
The receptionists are exceptional, and Shillah even more so. They define the term concierge and never once failed us and our multitude of queries on local culture, dos and don'ts, and must see places.
The staff at La Pâtisserie are fantastic and always add to the ever pleasant dining experience.
The rooms are incredible. They are modern, clean, and spacious. Moreover, they are wrapped in tranquil, manicured gardens.
I spent my birthday here and the pleasant little surprises from the hotel didn't seem to stop. I felt special in a very special place.
I loved everything.

excellent.
Staff are very courteous and honest.
On the day of departure, I had forgotten my watch in the room. One of the employees saw it and handed it over to management who kept it safely for me. I collected it after two days of my departure. It is very rare to find such honest people in Uganda. I would recommend this hotel to any one who wants peace, good service and assured security. Thanks a million for your excellent service.

Part of the restaurant complex Le Petit Village, so excellent food around the corner without having to leave the complex. A part from that, only negatives, I'm sorry. I stayed here several years ago, when it had just opened, but now the price is exuberrant compared to what you get. Quite a disappointment this time around!
Quite a disappointing stay! Seemingly everything went wrong....
-Messy checkin; taking time (20 min, yet I was the only person checking in) and two checkin ladies seemingly duplicating efforts and not fully knowing what to do.
-Internet disfunctional; took 2 hours before someone could identify the correct wifi network and give me a suitable login.
-Lock of door didnt work; had to wait for my key to be replaced.
-I stayed in some type of loft made with a thatched roof. BIG room; but....dysfunctional AC; very outdated, small TV; toilet, bath and shower IN the room (zero privacy - maybe thats what they mean with 'boutique' hotel?); two tiny lamps for light (I had to use the torch on my phone to pack my suitcase at night prior to leaving as there was simply no light!). Old bed, stuffy air, dark...
-VERY noisy. Both from outside the compound, as well as from other (quite drunk) guests who decided to have a party on their balcony. Dont expect to sleep a lot!
-VERY expensive airport shuttle (triple the price of an Uber). OK, but would expect service then. Rather, the driver decided to cut corners and take the old Entebbe road instead of the express way (to avoid a couple of dollars toll pay). Almost missed my flight!

Huge rooms with comfy beds, coffee pods / water provided. Nice sized pool with good sun beds, 2 restaurants on site both amazing. Staff all friendly, especially general manager Patricia! Will definitely be back if we are ever in Kampala again.
If you like a silent sleep, don’t stay in room 4!

My husband and I we're delighted with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were a solid 10 out of 10. Breakfast was delectable each and every morning. We were honestly spoilt for choice. I was gutted we didn't get a chance to take a swim as it rained every day of our stay, but at least it gives me something to look forward to on our return 😉.

The design is nice and modern.
No ironing facilities in the room which I found strange for a hotel. how do you expect guests to iron clothes at night when housekeeping is not available 24x7

The breakfast was exceptional. There was alot to choose from. Temperature in the room was great. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. We will be staying here on our next visit.
The noise isolation between the rooms could be better. We could hear our neighbors talk at around 2am.
