Excelente lugar, recomendado

La atención del dueño. Una persona muy atenta. Nos prestó hasta sus equipos para hacer snorkel.

Que tuvimos que salir a las 9am de la habitación. Normalmente el check out suele ser 10h00am u 12h00.

Cálido lugar para quedarse

La amabilidad de don Pepe. El espacio corresponde a una casa. Es sencillo, limpio y todo funciona perfectamente. Nos sentimos como familia en la casa de don Pepe.

Solución sencilla, pero válida.

Las hijas del dueño son muy simpáticas, ayudan donde pueden y buscan solucionar los problemillos que se dan, especialmente María Cristina. Hay una sala de estar bonita junto a la cocina, es comoda, en la habitación el aire acondicionado funciona bastante bien. El lugar es tranquilo.

Está un poco alejado de todo, pero se resuelve en taxi (2€ cada viaje). En las habitaciones faltan pequeñas comodidades, por ejemplo una mesita, dos sillas... En la casa o hay donde tender ropa que viene mojada de la playa. En la cocina falta una ollita dedicada para hervir agua, en general hay pocos trastes.

They moved us to a different building from the one advertised Bathroom door did not close Horrible grinding noise from water systems each time someone in the building was opening the water Could not sleep due to noise and moved elsewhere after first night They rented the room afterwards without asking us, during our paid stay No wifi but that was the least of our problems Far from the beach,

pepe is so nice!

・Owner is very kind. He is fluent in English and has no trouble communicating. ・It's a bit of a walk to the center, but it's close to the main beach, so it's convenient. ・When I asked for laundry in a hurry, he responded quickly. ・They borrow me snorkeling gear.

・Wifi is very slow. ・Hot shower is not available. ・The laundry bag did not return

Pleasant

It was a good location and had a kitchen.

The kitchen was quite unclean filled with ants so we didn’t like using it. It was very loud late in the evenings as our room was right next to the owners home so we constantly got woken up. The owner came across as quite rude and was aggressively telling my partner off for putting a key in the wrong spot and not Turing aircon off when we actually had. Room was also not super clean and their was blood on the sheets 😬

nice place and nice host!

Pepe was amazing. helpful and funny! tried his very best to make everything as comfortable as possible and gave us great tips and recommendations. room was comfortable enough and had good a/c. would stay again!

slightly further from the centre of town than I realised, however only a 5-7min walk so nothing major.

Good

The owner is helpful and offered to lend snorkles for free. Has a bedside lamp which is nice. Air con worked well. Comfy sofas in common area. Walkable to center. Good price for the area.

The room was small and ceiling low so it felt quite cramped. There were lots of ants in the bathroom and difficult to keep bathroom floor dry without good bath mats.

Lovely Galapagos stay

Pepe lent us free snorkel masks so we didn’t need to rent them and he hooked us up with a discount on our tour. The room was clean and good air conditioning. Very cute animals and lovely garden space. Well equipped kitchen for cooking

Good

Price was good. There is a kitchen if you wish to cook up something simple. Landry service was cheap & efficient Location near Playa Mann & Muelle Tijeretas.

No soundproofing : you can hear the traffic, the restaurant downstair, construction workers, the neighbors and the other guests regardless of the hours of the day & night. In short , it's very hard to rest. The kitchen would need some love : broken dishes, broken kitchen tools & the fridge is literally falling apart (door not closing anymore)

Great backpacker budget place!

First of all, the owner, Pepe is an absolute asset to the world. The universe is so much better that he is in it. If you get a chance, talk to him because he's a fascinating guy. He speaks English quite well, and you can tell that his hotel is run with love. This is more or less a backpacker place. The beds are comfortable and there's a kitchen you can cook if you need.

Pepe was an amazing host! He is friendly, supportive and helpful. Booking tours through him will be in your best interest. You will safe some money that way. Our room was big enough with plenty shelves. We like atmosphere of this hostel.

Nice room

Room had good AC and comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. Not too far from the main dock and close to the beach.

The kitchen was quite small and the fridge wasn’t very cold as my cooked food had gone mouldy after two nights. there were also quite a few ants about and didn’t feel very clean overall. Pepe was very nice and meant well however could get a bit stressed at times and in turn angry at the guests.

Pepe was great. He was the highlight of our days in San Cristobal. His property was clean, well maintained, and close to the beach. He helped with booking an highlands tour and general island information. Highly recommended. My family and I really enjoyed staying here.

Pepe was so kind and helpful, with lots of positive vibes! he made us feel like at home, and so we did! not too far from a swim-with-sea-lion beach

Bathroom was a bit smelly on the last day and dome ants in the sitting/bench area but nothing major, we still loved our stay

I arrived around 12:30pm and there was no one to check in. I waited for about 30 minutes for the person in charge to arrive. In fact, many times I needed information about tours and the person in charge was not there. Besides, he's kind of stressed out.

Living in a cozy atmosphere

Around the hostal is a beautiful garden The atmosphere was very familiar and the host was super friendly and helpful all the time.

The bathroom was not in our room located that was a bit uncomfortable but all the other rooms have their own bathroom so we guess they are better :)

good location and once the 2 areas of concern are rectified then we’d recommend it.

very clean , friendly owner and helpful- spoke quite good English- good location and a really good size room .

no curtains to block out the street lights . it was like a disco at midnight. air conditioning leaked all over the bed . these things can be easily fixed as we told the owner . hopefully he’s on to it .

Pepe is so lovely, and happy to help you with everything! I wanted to extend my stay by one night but he didn’t have a room, so he tried his best to help me find another one. He also has lots of advice on trips to go on, and what places to visit or eat out at.

Great location, very comfortable guesthouse at a great price.

This is a great budget hostel with very good wifi and air conditioning. There is a small self-catering kitchen which is great. The host Pepe and his family are very welcoming and accommodating. He can get you a better price on tours and has lots of great information. The rooms and common areas are kept very clean.

Pepe was a great host, really helpful and kind. Great location, close to the beach. Less than 10 mins to town centre. Strong WiFi, hot shower and good AC.

Could do with a bit more crockery in the kitchen.
