Old building with refurbished rooms and en- suites. Excellent breakfast menu freshly cooked.

As a single traveller had to pay double when only a double room was available.

The breakfast was ok. Little choice and breakfast time was 9.0 am only.

Building locked up on arrival 6.30pm. Site said Restaurant on site--nothing. The lady I spoke to asking for admission to property was angry and rude as we hadnt arrived by 4.0pm.Booking .com should be more aware of what properties it is advertising. The rooms were clean but I couldnt recommend it.

The room, facilities, the breakfast was gorgeous! Lorna and her team provide a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. It was a perfect place to start my holiday and the Irish hospitality made this a perfect stay!

The overwhelming smell of detergent on the sheets made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom was flooded from the room above every time someone had a shower which destroyed my items I had left there. The breakfast both mornings was cold and on the second morning inedible and undercooked after waiting 50 minutes for it.

Bedroom decor was very pretty with comfortable bed.

The ensuite bathroom had a musty smell. The carpet and hallway inside the front door were very shabby. The owner had untrained staff - not their fault. Staff making breakfast had little experience, so the food was cold and late. Again, not this persons fault as it is the owners responsibility to ensure staff are well trained and doing their jobs well. The owner was not present at any time, which was not satisfactory.

The TV was tiny, and only had a few channels (rte and virgin).

The bedroom was well decorated, clean and warm. The ensuite shower was great. The breakfast was delicious.

The tv on top of the wardrobe was very small and hard to see.

The mould in bathrooms, particularly the twin bathroom. Mould also in bay of twinroom. Breakfast on the second morning was too ambitious for 1 person, 3 were hot but not mine also ? Microwaved poached eggs.

Great breakfast was served in the common dining room and we also had the chance to talk to the staff ang get tips on places to visit and things to do. Very nice place, in the village center and close to pubs and restaurants.

I recieved a booking confirmation from booking.com with the correct details. This was not received by the hostess.
