We found the house to be welcoming and perfect for our family! There is easy access to things to do in North Conway, skiing, tubing, eating out, shopping and a train ride aboard the snow train. The owner was easy to get in touch with when we needed the driveway to be plowed. We'll be heading back again next winter for another memorable stay at the Holiday House.

The house offered an abundance of space for my extended family to stay. The floor hockey table, arcade game and other toys were great entertainment for the children. The kitchen offered a great gathering space for our family. The house was cold upon arrival and the passcode for the thermostat was not provided. Host was quick to respond but the house still took hours to warm. Floors were not the cleanest as evidenced by our dirty socks. The lack of hot water put a damper on our stay as it was not restored before we departed. The host graciously provided an alternative remedy but with no understanding of the root cause, it shakes my confidence to stay there again.

The pictures and reviews seemed amazing, we were so excited to get there and start our vacation. After a 10 hour drive with 4 kids under 4 (a long and exhausting drive) we showed up to the house a mess. The floors were dirty, beds were slept in, dirty towels on the floor, etc.
We reached out to the owner and she said the cleaner would be there shortly, and we could go into town for a bit. We told her it was a long drive and needed to settle the kids and get dinner started. So we ended up cleaning, while the cleaning people quickly cleaned the rest of the house. Even after the house was cleaned, the kids feet and socks were black. So we cleaned multiple times in order to feel comfortable allowing our kids to play and run around on the floors.
Don’t get me wrong, the cleaners were very nice and accommodating, but it seems as though the owner needs to show up to their house to see the condition it’s in. The carpets are disgusting, the curtains are falling apart, the dust and grime buildup were awful. The owner needs to address many issues, including returning our cleaning fee (as requested) since we spent the entire vacation cleaning instead of enjoying being away.

To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement. I will say that the space is large and provides plenty of space for people to gather, sit and eat.
There overall state of the house was not what we have come to expect from a VRBO. The house is very musty smelling and lacking in cleanliness. The furniture was dirty, the floors were not clean, there were dirty dishes and utensils left for us to deal with.
Several doors/windows don't open/close/lock properly so getting good ventilation was challenging.
The house needs many updates and repairs.

The place is dirty and very worn out. I lay in bed and looked at cobwebs laced on the ceiling. Smells musty.

Nice house with lots of room for our 3 families, which included 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen has everything we needed and the owners left lots of toys games, books, and supplies. There are cribs, bunk beds and even a playpen if you need one. It is not a new house so it shows the wear and tear of some years and likely many renters, but it was clean. We had a small issue when we arrived but the owners were very responsive and took care of it immediately. Location and neighborhood are great. It is not the Waldorf, but if you are looking for a comfortable place with room for a large group, and one the has lots of accommodations, this should work for you.

Arrived to neglected exterior (moldy, peeling paint, weeds, plants growing out of gutters, dangerous nails sticking out of old deck boards). Looked abandoned from outside. Entered kitchen to vase of dead flowers; months of dust/grime/cobwebs on kitchen light fixtures (had to clean before unpacking). No usable closets, sparse decor, mirror, side table in Master, old rug; dated, half painted bathroom w/ previous guest's bath items. (Had to fix toilet paper holder to keep on wall.) Guest bath sink cabinet old & broken; bath rug filthy. No extra paper products & only 3 dishwasher pods. Cleaned, organized & did our best to make presentable before family arrived. Daughters found sand at bottom of their sheets when went to bed - which meant they were not fresh/changed from last guest! No additional linens (towels or sheets) to change them & no laundry detergent to wash. Had to go to store, buy detergent; wash all linens before could sleep in beds. Kids bedroom w/ bunkbeds has ceiling fan, so if sat up in bed their head would hit fan (dangerous for kids!). Tried to use nice grill & deck so slanted that eggs/grease run off fast towards you. Had to put magazines under front feet to use. Vertical, noisy AC units; had to clean filters to run. I could go on, but you get the idea. Property good size & has potential; is a great location for families & kids (nice kitchen, TV room, basement game room, toys & baby items), but needs maintenance, owner attention & NEW cleaning company.

The home is in a nice area although it’s clear the neighbors do not like the VRBO being there. The home has major water intrusion problems and because of that it has a constant mold/mildew smell. This home needs major work to fix this problem.

This was a great location for a whole family getaway. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, large spaces to gather together and great accommodations for all ages.

There are lots of comfortable beds & space. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The large kitchen table was great for our group.
There isn’t central AC but there are AC units in most areas, which worked fine since the temps were a bit lower during our stay.
The property & house needs updates.
It has a musty smell even though there were dehumidifiers running.

The house was beautiful, just as pictured, and perfect for a friends and family getaway weekend. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed to relax after a fun day at Storyland, which is very close by. We were impressed with the amount of kid friendly toys/games the house had, and the number of spaces where we were able to spread out and relax comfortably. We would definitely recommend staying here, and are looking forward to coming up again in the future!

More than enough room for our 4 couples. Lots of comfortable furniture and everyone was happy with their beds (that is saying a lot!). We made many meals in the well appointed kitchen. Very close to downtown North Conway but located on the much quieter west side of the Saco River. Would rent again!

This was our second stay here and it was great again! Lots of room for multiple families with lots of room to spend out. Well equipped had plenty of everything we needed. The toys were a big hit with the kids and so nice to not have to bring them for the kids.

We were so pleased with our recent stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed, well stocked kitchen appliances, kid and baby items, games and comfy beds. It was perfect for our weekend away.

We rented the house so we can spend a long weekend with our kids (all under 10) at Storyland and Santa’s Village. It was the perfect location to fit both into one weekend while also being close to restaurants, mini golf and shopping options. The house was the perfect size to accommodate our extended family and was very kid friendly (cribs, toddler bed, toys, air hockey). Lian was also very responsive when we reached out and easy to work with.
We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a rental in the North Conway area!

We had a great trip to North Conway and this was a great house for us and our friends. We had a total of 5 kids, ages 6, 3, 2, 1, and infant. Plenty of space for two families upstairs, and a 3rd could easily have used the downstairs bedrooms! The two cribs and high chairs were amazing, clean and great condition! There is tons of space for the kids to play. Kitchen is fully stocked. Very convenient to Story Land, Echo Lake, and river rafting!

Great house for families with kids! Tons of kid toys and books, train table, art table, stuffed animals—grandkids were thrilled! Very large and spread out, easy to hang out together or separately. Nice screened in porch and deck. Very well stocked with just about everything you could need, and very clean. Comfortable beds with cribs and toddler beds. It did get pretty hot one day; when outdoor temps were in 90s the a/c covering kitchen and living room isn’t quite enough. But there are ceiling fans and tower fans. Good location, near Echo Lake and Storyland. One caveat regarding kids—there’s no real outdoor space to play in, no yard. But the basement has plenty to do and you’re going to be out and about anyway! Would definitely book again! Thanks Lian and Kent, a pleasure dealing with you!

We had a group of ladies stay here for a weekend tubing the saco river. This property and host were wonderful. Lots of space. Easy to find and great location nearby lots of attractions. The air conditions were great as it was a very warm weekend. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and screened in porch at night. The host gave us clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Lots of space for several families
We loved that there were plenty of bedrooms and types of beds (bunk beds, cribs, Queen, King, etc.) for all ages and family sizes. The living room had a lot of toys to keep the kids occupied, and the downstairs rec room was clean and comfortable, a great hangout for kids. The house is built on a hill and the back of it is partially underground, so it's rather musty, but there are dehumidifiers throughout.
Some small items are due for an update (the bottom of the pack n play is broken, the knives are a bit dull) but the house and kitchen in particular was otherwise well stocked with everything you might need and then some. We were very pleased that there was an instant pot!
The location and proximity to both Story Land and North Conway 'downtown' was perfect. The host was a great communicator. Thank you!

This property served us well for the wedding weekend.
The property/house is spacious and up to date with amenities. Seven of us stayed there and everyone had a good bed and bath, and comfortable common spaces. There was room for more people, but Fourth of July weekend made lodging a commodity. It turned out to be great for us. We were 1/2 hour from the wedding, but wanted to be a little closer to Mt. Washington, so the location served us well.

This is our 4th time at this property and it continues to be awesome! The house is great and well equipped with everything you would need, especially if you are traveling with kids - couldn’t be better! The location is awesome - right near Echo Lake and Diana’s bath and close to Storyland. Highly recommend and we will back!
