The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Some basic amenities were available. The food was surprisingly good. We enjoyed the mangrove setting the hotel is in. It was wonderful to walk underneath the tree cover and observe the water monitors, white breasted swamphens, ruddy mongooses and other wildlife. There is a nice pool and chill out area next to it with bean bags and sofas which looked nice, but we couldn't enjoy it. There may be an issue with this if there are more than one groups, where there may be competition for common space. The staff was excellent and took great care of us, no complaints in that regard at all.

There was no toilet paper in the toilet, and no holder either. The tea/coffee spread could be better in the room. There were only Nescafé sachets and sugar. The location is a bit iffy if you're after a beach holiday, because you have to take a 10 min. tuk ride back towards the coast. The ride should only cost Rs. 400-500.

We stayed in the cabana by the lake. Overall it was an average experience. Staff is ok and they are quite friendly, 1st we was to check-in 1pm but they gave us the cabana around 4 pm. Until that time they provided a room to stay but as the 1st impression it was horrible. What makes it worse is they requested us to leave 10am in the next day which was 4 hours earlier. It was really unfair. Cabana view is really nice but they have not well maintained the cabana by the lake. If you booking it, make sure you keep your valuable stuff with you, cuz you cannot lock the doors. There are CCTV operating but you'll never know about unknown places. Apart from that there were no toilet papers or tissues and washroom also cannot be locked or move the door. There is a working TV but no channels visible because Satellite is down. And the funny thing is if you gonna stay there and if you wish to have a good cup of tea or a coffee, make sure you don't consume no sugar at all. As what they informed us, squirrels stealing the suger packets which is way funnier cuz i didn't see no mouse or squirrel anywhere at all . Private pool is ok but it was not much clean but it can be tolerated because filter was working fine. They say it was an exceptional breakfast but what got it 8 toasted bread slices with little cup of jam and butter and 2 small sausages for each and 2 egg omelets. I hope owners will renovate all these things. Environment and ambiance is overall marvelous. The cabana and the facilities were not up to standards. For the price we payed for it is not much worth it.

The hotel is very beautiful, it’s very clean, it’s a little paradise in the middle of the wild nature, the workers very nice and we have been very good. 👍🏼

The rooms were large with high ceilings, fan and A/C, which meant that the room STAYED COOL during power outages, that are occuring twice daily. I also enjoyed the small pool. The floating restaurant is in a mangroves lake, and there are monkey, birds and monitors Lizard everywhere. The food was good.

I liked the pool, but you need to understand the pool is very small - suitable for cooling off but not for swimming.

Everything was perfect

the property is beautifully maintained by Mr. Dushant. his philosophy towards saving the nature is commendable the entire property is green and clean and it’s a retreat by itself. the staff and people are super helpful. they help and serve with smile and not even once they will have any grin on their face

only the lane to enter the property might give one an idea that where are we heading but once you are in the property it’s a paradise by itself

The owner and his team went above and beyond to provide us the best experience in Galle. The restaurant serves decent food, rooms are always clean and staff is friendly and ready to help. We also enjoyed smoking shisha laying near the pool. The place itself located in a peaceful green location and we met a lot of local birds and animals. The owner organized a tuck tuck for us every time we need to go anywhere and gave the best advise about places nearby such as shopping, surfing and eating out. He also organized amazing snorkeling tour and excursion to the turtle farm. I can’t recommend it highly enough: 10 out of 10
