Well maintained and rooms very clean. Pool and loungers suitable for the number of guests. Location to centre close enough and quiet.

Very spacious room with lovely terrace. Cold water available in the fridge on arrival. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely sat out on the terrace overlooking the pool. The swimming pool was quiet with plenty of sun loungers and shade if required. Shame we were only there for one night but we will definitely be back for a short break.

Walls are pretty thin and we stayed in the room close to the main door. So we could hear all the people coming back from city.

My family and I spent a night at Villa Welwitshia. Beautiful location minutes away from Carvoeiro beach and the famous Algar Seco, lots of restaurants and sightseeings. The staff was very welcoming. The only thing is I wish I spent at least another night.

Easy parking, nice apartment with AC, generous breakfast, close to the beach, and quiet. Virgilio was an exceptional host.

Our room was large with a good sized seating area and a balcony with tow chairs, a table and a drying rack for our laundry. there was a bar fridge in the room and plenty of storage for our clothes as well as a safe. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach and downtown Carvoeira yet in a quiet area with a ravine behind. Lots of parking. A generous breakfast with fresh fruits, cold meats, cheese, several pastries, specialty coffees from a machine, yogurt, cereals, eggs upon request and always a freshly baked cake.

It was such a pleasant stay in this lovely hotel, everything is so tidy and clean, people in charge there are very kind. A very good point is that this hotel is very close to the famous Benagil beach (less than 10 minutes driving).

I liked everything and will come back anytime. Hopefully at a time to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool! From the staff, Isabela (she was great in giving tips and had lot of patience with my Portugués) and Virgilio who I met on my last day as I ended up extending to two nights, to the facilities: the villa is great, everything is new and clean. Room is very spacious and bathroom is just great. Breakfast was included and as vegan I could also have nice options( fruit salad, granola,coffee, jam and bread and several juices , plain fruits etc). The location was just perfect ( I did not have a car) and I did hiking for two days and the villa is perfectly located near shops/bar/restaurants and easily connected to the main trails entrances. There are also two beautiful cats! ❤️

Everything was great

Location was just a small trek off the main road in a very quiet area. Super clean rooms, good breakfast provided, and friendly, helpful couple running the guesthouse. Layout of the building and grounds offered plenty of public space to relax, and secure parking area was a bonus.

Not just here, but everywhere we stayed in Portugal had unusually firm beds. My back will be happier in the States!

Easy walk into Carvoeiro and the town beach. Our host was very helpful at check in and had helpful advice on local restaurants. The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast room was somewhat small, so we ended up outside, which was cold.

immaculately kept property very centrally located but just far enough away from the Main Street to make it quiet and relaxed. very comfortable with everything you need and more. lovely outside seating areas and pool. A good continental type breakfast with different cake and croissants every day.

The hairdryer in the bathroom, just a personal thing and next time I’d take my own which would solve that….

Everything was just superb. The location. The cleanliness. The comfort of the guest house. The facilities. Lovely breakfasts. Nothing could be improved on. But the icing on the cake were the really lovely owners. Isabella and Virgillo. They could not do enough for you and welcomed you as friends. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

Absolutely nothing

Perfect accommodation in a quiet but very central location, the main town and beach was easily reached on foot. We had a large room with a lounge area and balcony. There was also a pool which was open to use. We were made very welcome by the lovely host. The whole place, the rooms, breakfast room, pool and surrounding area was exceptionally clean and in good order. Breakfast was always very fresh and a good selection - coffee was very good! The host Isabela was very kind and helpful, she opened up for a breakfast a little early on the last day so that we could have a bite before leaving. We will be back!

loved the location and the fact the property had private off street parking. The room comfort was excellent, the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. there was a mini fridge and a kettle in the room which was a great addition and quite unusual for Portugal. Staff were very obliging and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. excellent breakfast was supplied each morning.

I cannot see any negatives to this property
