The room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace. The building was quiet and private with a beautiful view of the grounds.
Lack of an elevator for moving luggage, but this was a minor incovenience.

All of service, equipment and rooms lived up to my expectation. A bed was so comfortable that I overslept, consequently I missed breakfast... Gardens in the premise were also wonderful. The price is worth paying.
WiFi connection was hard and it took time to solve it until a "booster" was delivered. It seemed it was the matter of infrastructure, which led me to believe some of other people suffered the same phenomenon. If so, the solution should have been given much quicker.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Capro d'Or. Our room was lovely and very comfortable.
Rien.

great setting and wonderful restaurants on-site.

Our room #34 was too dark. Would have like a different exposure or a terrace room
Which I was unaware when booking

beautiful setting just below the village of baux…nice gardens and beautiful room
felt the property was a bit dated… tennis court old, the best pool was out of function due to a storm… and so was the air con. not ideal when the weather is warm

Stunning hotel complex. We stayed in a truly, old, authentic provencal house surrounded by beautiful gardens and pools. The hotel restaurant is in a beautiful, relaxed setting. Staff were extremely helpful - we ate out in the local (Les Baux) village and the hotel arranged the meal and provided transport for us.

We came for the 3 star Michelin restaurant, a very enjoyed experience.
Unwelcoming staff, totally i different and unhelpful. Very unenthusiastic un unaccomodating.
The Spa is closed even by appointment you cannot use the pool, ssuna or hammam. Only the treatments at extra charge can be booked and enjoyed. We have been to many hotels in the past 12 months where Covid is not sn excuse anymore to shut down public spaces that are included in the room price. Very disappointing snd gym is a joke.
The breakfast could have been enjoyable if the buffet didn’t shut down at 10.30 with noisy removal of everything.
There is a bar at the restaurant La Cabro d’Or but at 19.10 it was not open due to a staff meeting and we had to take our aperitivo in our room.
Certainly not tempted to coming back when there are so many better plsces on offer at the same price range,

Amazing property with two restaurants. Both are exceptional. Very nice ambience, good spa, high level of service
Water in swimming pool was cold

The property is absolutely stunning - the pool area very nice and it’s a fantastic place to relax. The Restauration of the buildings is done in a very nice way. Breakfast was very good. Most staff was very helpful and nice.
For a hotel in this price category the service was just not good enough. We had dinner in the restaurant in the main area of the hotel - had to ask for bread, we were not asked if we want to have desert, the espresso took nearly 20 minutes. Overall the service in the restaurant was terrible (we assume that it might have been because we were dressed very casual as we traveled through and did lots of outdoor activities - so no room for dresses and suits. but we often book hotels in this price category and never experienced a service like this - no matter how you look like). When we asked for a car to bring us back to our part of the hotel the restaurant said they order it - when we left there was no car and we were told to go to the reception to order one ourselves. So it was an additional wait of 15 minutes. Maybe we were just unlucky, maybe it was a bad timing, but maybe it was as well because of our appearance - which should not happen in a hotel like this.

Quality is when you step out of your room into the garden and sit down next to the old fountain under the huge tree, listening to the birds. It is a privilege to be able to be here.
This does not come along cheaply. But then again, it is a highlight.

Absolutely everything. It’s a wonderful haven. The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable, and the bathroom large and luxurious. We loved the food... From the generous breakfast, to delicate lunch at le Cabro d’Or and our 3* meal at L’Oustau, everything was perfect, even our room service order was delicious! The staff is kind, not too stuffy, they extended our check out to 1pm which left plenty of time to pack on a rainy day.
Highly recommended!

Pretty Location, amazing restaurants, clean.
Great hotel for a 4 star, certainly not 5.
*very* Poor service, non attentive. No where near 5 star service, but still at a high price.
(1) AC was not working in the room during a heatwave. Complained twice. No one followed up to check if it’s been repaired
(2) we had reservation for lunch at L’ostau (3 star Michelin). Booked through the hotel. The hotel failed to tell us the menu ends at a certain time (even when we asked to confirm the timing).
(3) some of the facilities are in poor shape: pools aren’t clean, showers by the pool are from the early 2000s

Our room was on the ground floor with a beautiful outside patio, where we enjoyed breakfast most mornings. The room was a great size, spotless and had most amenities you could wish for.
Breakfast had lots of variety of fruits, pastries Etc, (Espresso was tremendous)
La Cabro d'Or Restaurant was sensational. Food, Wine, staff and setting all faultless.
Unfortunately I didn't book L'Oustau (3 Michelin star).Which was completely my fault. I don't know why but I thought a few tables maybe held back for residents of the hotel. Such a shame but great excuse to come back. So a touch of advice. If you book this hotel, book the restaurants to avoid disappointment.
