To be honest, I didn't quite understand the concept of a 'pre authorisation' when booking.com has a free cancellation policy up to the day before (in my case).

The hotel was in a nice area near Catania. The rooms were spacious with a nice garden in front of them. The ladies in the reception and the cleaning personnel were polite. Breakfast was nice too!
Even though most personnel in the hotel were polite there were some in the restaurant who were almost rude.

The receptionist was so helpful. We arrived hungry in the afternoon, and she came up with fruit and gelato for us. We also bought a bottle of wine to drink in our room.
We had plans at 10 AM, so we had to check out early. No late checkout was available.

I love the property and I have stayed there before
and it’s central and very easy to get anywhere
I didn’t like the room because at night it was too
noisy and it’s a pity as it ruined our night after an
early day traveling. however the staff is nice and I
must say they apologized but it ruined a bit the
usual expectation of this hotel.
