Booked a single room, which when time to check in they could not find - so was upgraded to a beautiful double room with roll top bath/shower

Service - took a while to find room, told to wait until after 3pm, even though no single then available even after payment received. But eventually upgraded to double which was lovely

Not suitable for those that have problems walking - 3 flights of stairs (no lift) - plus quite noisy being front of hotel

It was an absolutely lovely place to stay.

Perfectly acceptable budget hotel with a bar and restaurant on Chipping Norton’s high street. Parking to rear and I was cuffed to have stayed in what was a former owner’s, (Keith Moon) bedroom.

No cooked breakfast- but a couple of cafes nearby.

Really clean room, with lovely view of the sunset in the evening and thoughtful touches. Really friendly staff and great service. Great location right in the centre of Chipping Norton.

room was clean and comfortable. Didnt really see any staff. Menu limited and the locals advised food was not good, plus food was more expensive on menu than advertised on the website.

Would have been nice if menu was more varied and reasonable, only did 1 brand of wine which was Chilean. Not many other eating places in the town as well.

Staffs were very friendly and environment was so calm specially in they have very friendly regular customers as well .

exceptional value the owner of the property was very welcoming couldn’t do enough for us . our room was amazing spotlessly clean and a lovely rolled top bath was a lovely touch to the large spacious room with toiletries and free drinks big shout out to abdul .breakfast had amazing choices and used good products too.Reaul the waiter at the bar and at breakfast was so friendly and went above and beyond for us. we got free parking which saves a lot of money and stress.I recommend anyone to stay here . brilliant value for money and location in the centre of beautiful chipping norton .

Well located, clean and comfortable.

We weren’t told there would be no food available for our stay 2 rooms for 2 colleagues. Just told no food being cooked today at the bar even though there is a bar menu available on the website and on the entrance to the hotel. The other restaurant in the town was fully booked. Breakfast states a continental on the website again no breakfast, no staff available to talk to at check out.

We were happy with the cost and the shops and restaurants around the hotel. The bar was great and everyone was friendly

We were sad that the pool and gym facilities were out of use- we were not told this before arrival and took our swimming and gym attire. It did not effect our stay, however I was looking forward to a swim.

After reading some of the reviews, we were a little apprehensive, but the rooms were very nice, and the hotel was perfectly fit for purpose. We will stay again if we attend a future event at FarmED.

It was very noisy outside on the night we stayed, but this wasn't the hotel's fault - there was an event happening in the village that would have been outside the hotel's control.

All I want is a good mattress warm quilt and strong shower unfortunately my room had none of these the hotel is dated and could do with some modernisation

Would have preferred not to have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to our room, however that was my mistake for not doing my homework on the hotel.

we found the room was large well cleaned the bathroom was very clean with modern bath and toilet.

Location was good. Service from staff was ok.

The bathroom was not clean - there were hairs in the bath, cobwebs behind the blinds on the windows and the bath mat was dirty. No shampoo, conditioner or toothpaste provided - there was a note in the room to ask reception if you needed toiletries but for £120 a night I'd expect these to be provided as standard. One of the two towels they provided us had a hole in. The mugs provided for tea/coffee also had dirty marks on them. Our room was on a main road and the window did not close properly - luckily the area was fairly quiet but had it been busy we would've had sound issues. I asked reception for a hair dryer both days and neither days was one available, they had "all been given out". All in all, it was not worth the £240 we spent on 2 nights there, I've spent that and had far better experiences - this is as basic as hotels come. We only stayed here as we were visiting somewhere close by other than to sleep so didn't have to spend too long in the room but I definitely wouldn't stay again.

Heating not working Freezing cold at night and morning Hot water in shower and sink took forever to come on Floor carpet all stained Bed really uncomfortable Sofa bed really uncomfortable Noise from outside of drunk people and the people staying in the room upstairs of doors slamming open and shut in the middle of the night over and over again. Wifi not working at all not even in the reception area no matter in our rooms. Other customers were at the reception about the wifi not working and unable to connect to it and nothing got said or done about it. 2 tv in the room only 1 TV connected to the Aerial so might as well just have 1 TV not 2. Guy on reception asked if we had a booking then disappeared don't know where he went then a woman came and asked again if we had a booking Car park extremely tight and small

Old English pub and lodging. Staff was wonderful and help us figure out some transportation issues to get to the train. The facilities were very clean, the Sunday Brunch was lovely. We did NOT want a contemporary property. The village of Chipping Norton was charming and very interesting.

Nothing but the stairs, they carried our bags for us as we’re are older.

The room was a lot larger than I expected, much bigger than other rooms I have been staying at for a similar price.

The Wi-Fi was rubbish. And reception was almost non-existent.
