Rooms are quite spacious, and breakfast was good.
Room had a strong smell of damp carpets. Staff do not ask for any proof of identity, which questions the issue of security.

This is my 3rd stay at Quarry Lake Inn, I stay here when accompanying my kids sports tours. They are so conveniently located, and consistently clean and comfy rooms.

It's one of the hidden germs of East London. The staff pay attention to details in every little aspect, for example in preparation and presentation of breakfast.

I would have preferred a room with a bath tho :) but understand my booking was last minute.

Generator was great to have to get through load shedding!
Was woken up each morning by movement in passageways and closing of doors in annex/block of rooms.

What wasn't to love? The location is absolutely gorgeous, it's a quiet and tranquil little place, the perfect getaway for people like me who are from the big city and just want to get away from all the hustle and bustle. I'm definitely coming back with my friends next time😄
