Perfect hotel, great location, everything you need all under one roof
They used to supply robes in the rooms which they stopped doing which is a shame, plus they also need to supply towels for the pool at the pool now you have to go to reception which is a bit of a pain

The Bar area, children sitting on stools there, not a very good advert , for such a nice Hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Staff very friendly. The room we had was amazing and very spacious. The fish in the waiting area was lovely to see especially for my 2 year old.

The hotel is very grand and looks clean and hygienic. Staff are friendly, and the food we ordered for room service was very tasty.
The hotel's decor is very dated in rooms (but has been updated in certain areas that receive most foot traffic, I suspect). Absolutely nobody's 'fault', but I also feel that this very regal-looking property deserves its own golf course or woodland or country estate; it seems a shame that it just sits in a big car park opposite a petrol station. Additionally, breakfast is just average and very limited, particularly if the thought of sausages and friend mushrooms for b'fast makes you feel nauseous. Other than that, it's pretty much bran flakes and a spoonful of yoghurt.

Location, size if rooms and ability to accommodate large families in one room.
Decor was old and tired. Needs updating massively.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in! We got a complimentary room upgrade which was amazing, the facilities were amazing! Would 100% recommend staying here!

We stayed in the king suite with balcony lovely and spacious nice jacuzzi bath and power shower absolutely loved the centre piece fish tank this was a big win with our autistic son. The bed was amazingly comfortable
We liked pretty much everything if i wanted to be really picky the rowans restaurant is very dated and old fashioned doesn’t really match the magnificent hotel itself my eldest son said it was like visiting a retirement village in that part 😂

Very clean and tidy, room was nice with decent facilities, nothing to complain about on that side. Tv channel choice was Ok and the shower was very good.
Finding proper information about restaurants / times / bookings was a bit of a pain, a single page in the room could give all the info instead of going online, only to be stuck in an endless loops as you can't book a table so close to the time, however you can't get restaurant times without getting to the booking page & I also couldn't get the restaurant menu open, it kept defaulting to afternoon tea.
Travelling alone, I just fancied a quick meal at the bar, the only meal option was a burger which at £18 is a bit premium, however when it arrived, the bread roll was stale, probably been sat under a heat lamp for ages as it did arrive very quick so I assume they are lined up ready.

Despite being a large hotel the restaurant was not busy in the evening.
It was busier at breakfast, which was good, tasty, and was served to you.
The Keller bar and nightclub were good. I saw Fil Straughan who, if you closed your eyes, could have been Luther Vandross.
The deluxe double room was spacious and had a shower large enough to party in!
And Sofie on reception was more than happy to help and give advice.
The hotel is located opposite a petrol station not far from the main road. My room faced in that direction and I was woken by noisy exhausts and inconsiderate people over reving their engines into the early hours.
That hot water was only warm.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Nice atmosphere.
Our room was clean but a felt a little tired and worn. One of the wall sockets was loose which is dangerous.

The hotel was lovely, very clean and well presented. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice and the hotel dinner menu was good.
A few other facilities such as a minifridge in the bedroom would improve the overall experience.

The venue is very well presented and looked after...
Waiting staff were more than welcoming and done everything they could for us.. one lady in particular but didn't get chance to get her name...
The pool was lovely and warm
Bed is so comfortable...
They could possibly make the swimming area more appealing.

The staff where amazing Grace was at reception when we arrived she was very helpful and friendly
The restaurant wasn’t as good as I expected our food on Saturday night (My husband’s birthday meal) was horrible we sent it back and we didn’t end up eating
ran out of tonic for my gin then the sports bar ran out of Gin for a hotel it was very poor.
Breakfast didn’t have much in the way of pastries in fact they ran out by the time we got there and an extra charge for a cappuccino was a bit of a surprise.

I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was a bad experience. Everything has changed and the extensive renovations have resulted in a very good hotel. Modern and spacious rooms have excellent bathrooms and the public areas and gym are a huge improvement on the previous facilities.

From the moment we walked in the lady in reception was so warm and welcoming. She wished me a happy birthday and made me feel great. Asking me what I planned on doing for my birthday and to ask for anything we may of needed. She gave us all the information we needed with regards to the facilities. When I booked the room I asked for a refurbed room with the new amazing shower, which was met. I was pleasantly surprised to find a hand written birthday card in my room. The bed was amazing. So comfortable and the shower was lush! This was our second stay and I would definitely stay again.
Although we really enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna I think it could do with some TLC. There were many missing and broken tiles in the jacuzzi and the steps are a little dodgy as they were very narrow and I hurt my foot on the last step. It just needs updating.

The facilities were great, having the sports bar and club downstairs were hugely convenient. The fish tanks in the hallways were beautiful. Rooms were comfortable with nice big showers, beds were very comfortable.
The reception staff were a little somber, it would of been nice to be treated with a smile and a friendly tone.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Coppid Beech is very convenient to the Motorway and is usually and nice place to stay.
Unfortunately there is a list.
when booking through booking.com, it was advertised that you could purchase a junior suite with a shower cubicle - once in the room, I was informed that none of the suites have a shower cubicle.
The balcony areas provide a heavy duty curtain with a net curtain behind. The net curtain is only held up by a tension rail, which immediately fell down and hit me on the head when moving the curtain.
The heating in the suite is only produced out of one machine in the living room area. when we arrived the heating wouldn’t work properly. After several hours it finally warmed up - but it was freezing when we arrived.
Clearly the heating was having an issue that day, as when I used the bathroom to have a shower in the over bath shower, I had to turn the temp up to nearly 50c Celsius just to make it warm enough to bathe in.
The room although supposedly recently refurbished had furniture in that was damaged - including a wardrobe missing it’s handles. The carpet although new, was nearly lifted near the entrance to the bathroom.
The following day we came downstairs to have breakfast. Due to refurbishments in the hotel, the restaurant was closed - so breakfast was being served in the “bier Keller” instead.
One of the main reasons for staying in this hotel, was that their breakfast was exceptional last time we stayed. However, now it has been reduced to something similar to a Travelodge or Premier inn style breakfast. This for most people would more than satisfy. I was very disappointed - and could only feel very jaded about my whole experience.
I paid £180 for my stay - which if everything had gone to plan, would have been acceptable.
Sadly, this has massively tarnished my opinion of this hotel, so I don’t think I will be using this hotel again.

Breakfast was good
Bath is too small imho, broad shoulders and a few extra pounds struggle. Also the depth of water is too shallow upto the overflow to immerse and soak.

The hotel was easy to find from the motorway. Staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was a set price of £15 which was very expensive for 2 small rashers of bacon and 2 fried eggs. The couple we were travelling with had the full English breakfast but left most of it because the hash browns were hard and the rest was too salty. There was no fruit juice and the mixed berries were still partly frozen.
