Location

Lack of light, light bulbs too weak. Bed side table lamp dusty and weak light. Unable to read by it. Frying pans in appalling condition. Fridge light going on and off. Provided pictures of frying pans to Real estate. Lots of dust under bed. Otherwise all good. Location great. Weather was too, so we were only sleeping in the property. Oh and one of the chairs the whole seat was loose. I didn’t realised and squashed my finger underneath. Very painful. Nail purple as well.It may come off. 👎🏻

The house was a great place to stay, a great view of the beach while sitting on the deck, a short walk to the beach and especially if you want a great sunrise. Picking up the keys from a locked box, couldn’t get any harder than that and that it was really easy to get too.

The floors felt a little sticky, that there was a build of dust on the fans, the bed frame had a build up of dust and residue (which I’m assuming from the ocean air) and some cobwebs on the rooms. The draws and cupboards could do with a deep clean as well.

The views were amazing, the house comfortable and clean.

Simple beach house across the road from track to the beach and beautiful rocky cove. Open plan, old school and relaxed feel. Clean inside, well kept garden and verandah for arvo drinks!!

Location was excellent and stay was restful. Easy walk to beach and estuary and plenty of longer walks available for the adventurous. Swan lake nearby for sailing/canoeing and Berrara Creek estuary not difficult to cross at most tides. Good little cafe nearby. Sussex Inlet village 10 min away.

Place had not been cleaned adequately (perhaps not at all), when we arrived. Stove top was greasy, Toilet was dirty, and floor clearly had not been swept. Tea towels had been left in washing machine wet and mucky. Agents were apologetic when informed, but the first impression on entry was disappointment.
