Locatie was een vervanging Le Bouganville ivm verbouwing zijn we omgeboekt naar Hotel Sirius Playa (4sterren).
Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, strand tegenover het hotel met bedjes en parasol.
Heerlijk ontbijt met een overdaad aan keuzes en een prima restaurant voor lunch en diner.
Kan geen verbeterpunten benoemen.

Nice quit location in the middle on the way from the village to the beach. Nice terrace with small garden.
Not very comfortable beds. On the beach, in the reserved area of the hotel, there are sunbeds with umbrella for an extra fee of €50 per day in the first row.

Not very well equiped for an “apartment”. No water for drinking (40 degrees on arrival), no simple cooking ingredients, no oil, i salt/pepper, no sugar, tea or coffee, only a teaspoon of washing liquid provided. The pool and garden are beautiful and kept really clean. Everything in the room works well - air conditioning, cooker, TV, great WiFi. Location very close to beach, also near town. Staff kind and friendly.

The location, proximity to the beach and the town. Fridge in the room and mini kitchen were really convenient with a decent amount of space for a family of three.
While we had a marginal Sea view, when standing, the hedges were too high to really enjoy the view, but I appreciate this added privacy. The main downside of the hotel is that 4-5 nights a week a local club (which closes at midnight) plays extremely load music for the last hour. It’s not that you can hear it, it’s like your actually there it is so loud. This is quite intrusively loud when you just want to sit and have a chat on the terrace and it does somewhat ruin the idyllic feel. A couple of nights we needed earplugs in the bedroom at the back but the base was so loud it made little difference. This might not bother you if you don’t have children or are out late anyway. Reception could have mentioned this to us to prepare us as it was quite a shock (and the space so lovely when it was not on).

The pool is only open 9-1:30 and then again from 3:30-7:30 and no jumping in- quite restrictive for travellers with families.

Our stay at the Residence Le Bouganville in Villasimius, Sardinia was a beach holiday dream come true. We spent a delightful 10 nights soaking up the warm Italian sun and were welcomed by a staff that defines hospitality. The team was exceptionally friendly and ever-ready to assist us. Special mention must go to Fabio, who seamlessly managed our entire stay, the affable Sandro who served us diligently, and Martino, the creator of the most exquisite coffees and gin tonics - they truly made our stay unforgettable.
The location of Le Bouganville is unparalleled. The stunning Simius beach, which is a mere 5-minute walk away, showcases one of the most breathtaking coastal views I've ever seen. Clear crystal water meets a clean, spacious beach, providing the perfect setting for unwinding and enjoying the serenity. Adding to the appeal, the beach is private, accessible only to Le Bouganville guests, thereby ensuring a peaceful and exclusive experience.
Not only did we have the sun, sea, and sand at our disposal, but there were also handy facilities on site. The diligent Salvataggio guys were extremely helpful and kind, and the availability of arranged sun beds and umbrellas made our beach days all the more comfortable and convenient.
If you're a foodie or simply love a beachside snack, there's one beach bar and two restaurants to satisfy your cravings. No need to venture far, they are right there at the beach!
For those who enjoy exploring local life, the heart of Villasimius is just a 10-minute stroll away, providing the perfect balance between beachside tranquility and vibrant town life.

For the whole duration of our stay there was no cleaning (not that this was an issue but it would be nice to get toiletries refilled)

Great location: white sand beach with cristal clear water 5 minutes by foot. Villasimius with restaurants and stores 10 minutes by foot. Good and free parking spaces available. Apartments are not new, don’t expect it to be perfect, but it‘s charming and clean and we had a garden and terrace.

Spacious apartment with a very nice sea view and a terrace. Clean. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Nice territory with the swimming pool and a restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.
The apartment was lacking some kitchen utensils, e.g. a bottle opener, cooking pots, a kettle. Small fridge, no dishwasher. No basics like salt, pepper or olive oil, so you'd need to bring everything with you or buy on the first day. Iron and hairdryer per request. There are sun loungers on the beach that belong to the residence for which you have to pay extra. Prices start with 30EUR per deck chair which is quite excessive. If you don't have a car you might also struggle going to the town (especially for shopping) as it's a 20-25 minutes walk to those big food stores like Eurospin. Also bear in mind that it's not that easy to get a taxi in Villasimius and a ride back to the residence will cost you around 15EUR.

Location was brilliant. 10min walk to the beach and about 15-20min to all the restaurants in town. Staff were very friendly especially Fabio who helped us a lot during the stay. Restaurant staff spoke minimal English but not a problem as we only ate once on site. The pool was clean as were the surrounding areas.
Apartment had a safe, good lighting and air con (though not used alot as temperatures were around 25/26celcius outside in September). Local beach spaggia di Simius is beautiful and if you keep walking you’ll get to spaggia di porta giunco again amazing but bearing in mind you have to climb some rocks. There is another route to get there on foot approx 45mins.

We did pay for sea view however could barely see the sea over the garden hedge and overall the property was quite expensive for what it was. needs updating in decor and furniture and also cleaning could be improved. In the kitchen there were a few tiny ants that kept reappearing after we got rid of them.
Even though the location was great for us for 5 days I would recommend hiring a car to get to the other beaches or to visit Cagliari as taxi services are not readily available and you have to pre book in advance.
Also bear in mind late check in charges after 10pm and tourist tax 2euros per person per night. Cab from airport is 100euros.

Perfect place to relax. Possible the quiet place I have ever been. Simius beach is also a stunning beach with the cleanest water.
The beach is 5 minutes away from the Redidence . Villasimius village can be easily reach by food, walking is around 15 minutes . Plenty of places to eat Italian food .

Great location, beautiful garden and atmosphere
Bit on expensive side (€200/night), while it was very clean we had to ask for room service during our stay and e.g. new toilet paper. Other side is that it felt really independent/anonymous which we liked.

The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. We would sit on our own private terrace every morning and evening and could take in all the greenery around us and the beautiful sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only issue we had was our dinner one evening when we ordered a steak dish and it really didn't smell like the meat was fresh. We were surprised as with that smell, a cook should instantly recognise that the meat is off.

The upstairs apartment dragged the chairs on the tiled floor which was noisy I think some rubber feet on the chairs would be an improvement

we booked a sea view room. when we arrived we were shown a garden room from which, if you stood on your tiptoes, you could just about see the sea. we asked for a different room, one that looked more like the one we had booked. we were told we could have one but we would have to pay extra. when I checked on the website, the better room was advertised at the same price but the manager insisted we had booked a ‘garden room’ and would have to pay extra for this sea view room. I can confirm, we booked and paid for a sea view room before we arrived. this was extremely disappointing and we ended up paying the extra as the garden room was just not very nice. uncomfortable beds.
we ordered cocktails from the bar and I couldn’t tell if they had misunderstood my order and made me a virgin cocktail. they assured me no, there is alcohol in it ‘we just make very weak drinks’. we didn’t order from the bar again.

The food from the on site restaurant was excellent. We asked for an alternative simple dish for our child and they were only too happy to do this.
Literally a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach.
The hotel arranged all of our taxis to the town and airport for a cheaper rate than if we booked them independently which were reliable and on time.
We requested a garden room which we got and it had the most amazing sea view.
The towels and bedding was refreshed after 3 days.
The restaurants around within walking distance are excellent too particularly Aquarius hotel pizzeria to the top of town which had excellent mussels and Morisca restaurant pizzeria which was just a 10 minute walk as you enter town.
For small children the pool is a little deep but super clean and with the beach in such close distance it didn’t matter too much.

I would have hoped for some flexibility on the cancellation policy, I had to shorten my stay and hope that at least the last night could be refunded, also the umbrella and sun chairs at the beach should be included in the daily rate

The garden and the pool are very beautiful and well taken care of. There are showers and toilets available even before check in or after check out, a great service from the hotel complex.
The location of the place is great: walking distance from the beach and quite close (walking 15 min) from the center of the village.
The apartment had air-conditioning, very handy in the heat.
The personnel is friendly and gave us a nice reception with an explanation of where to go and a map of the area. They allowed is to stay at the pool the day of check out and enjoy the lovely garden, and leave the luggage with them.
They have enough space to allow parking inside the premises with no problem.
We got the cheapest accommodation they offer (it is still not really cheap, mind you), and it seems they do not take care of it too much. The furniture was dated and the place was covered in scuff marks and with dirt of use by other guests. In other words: the place needed a good scrubbing and layer of paint refresh.
The place had been cleaned very superficially when we arrived, a few minutes touch up. The floor had been mopped, but it still had food rests. The dishes had rests of red sauce in them. After seeing this, we washed everything before using it... The toilet was clean though, but the shower cabin had water marks and some mildew. The handles of the doors were not cleaned, making us a bit concerned in these Corona times.
The trash recycling sorting had no explanation, we had to guess the use of each bin.
No mosquito nets on the windows.
Walls are thin and you hear your neighbors. We used ear plugs at night to sleep undisturbed.
From the back garden side you can access your neighbors apartments gardens and if the shutters are open, you can look inside.

The residence is well located midway between the beach and the village of Villasimius. Both are easily reachable by foot. The apartement was a good size for 2 ( our case ) or 4 people but too small and not enough equipped for 6 people.
The residence has its own private space on the beach of Villasimius but rather expensive for limited service (30 or 25 euros for one umbrella and 2 sunbeds), no bar, no toilets or shower and no discount for the people from the residence while we were there end of september and it was basically empty. We took it first day and found better and cheaper places afterwards.
The swimming pool at residence has limited opening times as it is closed from 12h30 to 15h30 which make its use cumbersome.
