We have stayed here many times as it is an excellent stop for one night en route to or from the car ferry at Santander.

You are asked to clean the kitchen. Plainly previous guests had not, for the cutlery was dirty. The reception desk does not open until 5 pm on a Sunday and we were not allowed into the hotel before that time, despite the hotel being open with guests coming and going. With temperatures only 2 or 3 degrees above freezing we would have appreciated being allowed to wait inside the lobby for an hour rather than outside, as we arrived at 4 pm.

We have been often before and like some of rhe staff as friends First time we have had breakfast and it was good value for the money.

Parking is a problem .

Clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful

the kitchen could do with a couple of essentials- e.g. salt, sugar, coffee. The coffee/tea making facilities could do with updating- there was a filter coffee maker for which you’d have to buy both coffees and filters, which just isn’t practical, and there was no kettle.

The parking is a problem. Underground parking is very tight leaving no room for error. Street parking is nearly impossible.

Warm welcome from a lovely receptionist who helped us with our luggage up to the apartment. Very spacious, with a massive bathroom. Big kitchen but very basic amount of cutlery and crockery. Had to ask at the reception for a corkscrew! Parking is excellent and secure in an underground space.
