The pool was great and the quiet garden was so relaxing, I enjoyed having breakfast there on our balcony. Just a minute from the beach where I was mostly alone. The owners were friendly and helpful. I prefer quieter places with fewer people and it was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the place. We had a car and travelled a lot and we loved to return in the evening and have a swim in the pool. I would return there. I already miss the place, Charlie’s Venus!
My husband didnt like some details but for me it wasn’t important, I was happy to be on the beach in the morning before our kids got up.

Everyone from the staff to the visitors were so lovely, so welcoming and always so happy. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect with restaurants, shops and the beach just a very short walk away. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all again.

The owner and the staff is super nice ❤️ Locatioan is amazing and the pool area is wonderful! Balcony gives you real greek vibes! :)
The furnitures and equipments are old and the inside of the building is not very nice. But for this price it’s more than worth it!

Kind hosts, at least the fridge and the air conditioner worked fine. Nice balcon view.
Not clean at all, all kitchen elements unusable except the fridge, bad smells all around the apartment, hot water comes after 10-15 minutes of waiting, and low water pressure.

As the title says Charlie will help you with everything you need. His apartments are closed to the sea and restaurants. The pool is awesome! If you want to rest from the noise of the city pick this place immediately ;) Price is adequate to the standard - don’t expect anything else.

Fantastic location, excellent pool, spacious gardens, Charlie and Mary (the owners) were lovely and very responsive to any requests we had. We had our own designated sun beds to comply with Covid etc. Very relaxing and quiet
We expected the Bar and restaurant to be open however this was closed due to restrictions and client safety re Covid.
Apartments slightly dated, could do with some new facilities / equipment i.e. pans, larger cups / mugs, however this did'nt spoil our stay.

Like the size of the pool and relaxed attitude towards leaving inflatables downstairs.
Being able to bring our own food and drink to the pool but that is only due to covid-19 restrictions as the owners decoded to close their pool bar.
No other pools did.
The whole site is quite run down.
Small repairs that have been ignored do let it down and I would have expected them to be perfect, given the late opening this season due to covid-19 which would mean they've had plenty of time to do them.
That said, perhaps that was the reason for these things not being done?? Maybe they were ill???
Broken tiles around the pool, old, tired sunbeds, fixings hanging off the wall in the bathroom, balcony door scraped the floor so much and the noise of this was horrendous every time we needed to open/close the balcony door- extremely annoying!!!
The fridge was not actually cold. Just stopped things getting hotter of that makes sense??
Due to covid, we didn't report it all as we didn't want to add pressure to Mary and her father who is very elderly and does all the maintenance. He cleaned the pool, by hand, mowed the grass- a very large area all alone!!
The pool bar and restaurant were closed as they felt it was safer for guests. This meant we could be completely self catering which was good as usually, you cannot have your own food and drinks around the pool. We were on a very tight budget so we really were thankful for being allowed our own drinks etc by the pool. That said, cooking was VERY difficult. The room had a how The maker, kettle, Small oven/grill and 2 hob rings. Now for this bit... literally 1 knife for chopping which was so blunt it wouldn't slice bread without force! There was a chopping board, cheese grater, 1 saucepan and 1 frying pan, 4 plates, 4 bowls 4 spoons, forks, knives, cups, glasses. No no of which matched which I found odd considering they have a restaurant on site that must have a stack of matching crockery they could use???
Just little things that would have made it more appealing.
The pool. It didn't seem very clean. It was not as clear as it could be and just seemed a little tired.
Other nearby pools are far in front of this one in terms of cleanliness.

Apartments and location were great. They had a very large pool which was ideal and there was only nine apartments so plenty room for everyone. The owner was a lovely man who made sure we had clean bedding and towels regularly, he even came to the door with bottles of beer for us. We were only there for a week but could have stayed longer.
Nothing. Couldn't fault it.
