Comfortable, spacious Villa with breathtaking view and wonderful staff

Villa Ensoleille lies right smack in the great value / great experience zone. -Fujisan view properties really do deliver the view Spacious bungalow after squeeze in Tokyo -Amenities for cooking & BBQ, onsen style tub with direct view that can fit one adult and a kid -Gracious staff handling all aspects of the stay, including advice on specific eating/sightseeing -Transport to/fro station if you do not drive Hiroyuki-San and his colleagues maintaining the property are the best you can ask for, for a first time traveler to Japan. The northern part of Kawaguchiko are less crowded, have the most homeliest eating experiences and have the best views. Also one key indicator of this place’s value is that over the weekend, all villas are booked out by well heeled Japanese and resident foreigner families road-tripping the Mt Fuji area.

Quiet, cozy, comfort, privacy, convenient for family trip. Hiro-san welcome us once we arrived, gave us detail introduction the house and facilities, which made us feel like getting back home. It has anything for living there, like cooking, laundry and even BBQ (we didn't try it out this time). It's definitely a place deserve the high recommendation from every visitors. And I would love to stay there again in my next trip.

A villa and a host with a big heart

Hiroyuki-san was one of the best hosts. Very kind and just happy to help out in any way. The villa is clean, huge and also had a good view of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommended.

15 mins by car from the station but Hiroyuki-san can arrange a pick up and drop for you.

great communication, free station pickup and trip to supermarket and helpful with all arrangements - location with lake in front of Mount Fuji is outstanding and cycle tracks

Honestly, I don't want to leave here. Strongly suggest to stay at the villa for two night at least.

So impressed with the warm welcome; good recommend for the attractive places included introduces the bus time table and restaurant nearby the property. You can see the Fuji Mt. from your villa. Peace to take your rest.

Lovely cottage with amazing views of Lake Kawaguchiko and Fuji Mountain

The property manager Hiroyuki offered to pick me up from Kawaguchiko station when I arrived. He even offered to stop by at some shops for me to get groceries, which was really kind of him considering it was a busy period for him and the property. He gave me some brief introductions en route to the property, which was also very helpful. The location of the property was amazing, and I even received some help from a local resident Mr. 堀內 when I needed help to go to Kawaguchiko station to join a local tour. All in all if you are looking for Japanese style cottage with lovely people around, you will not be disappointed by Villa Ensoleille : )

Mesmerized! 🥰

Villa Ensoleille is the most gorgeous duplex property with sensational views of Mt. Fuji from the patio, balcony AND bathroom! I certainly endorse the Mount Fuji villa for a dreamy stay! :) The house is well-equipped to cook your own meals but also in prime location with good restaurants at walkable distance and the lake at just a 15 minute walk. Great value for money! Mr. Hiroyuki, the manager, was the kindest and warmest host! He was generous to have picked us up from Kawaguchi bus station himself. Check-in was smooth and he is quite prompt in replying to messages over Booking.com. The detailed map he gives you of the town is most useful! Shuttle back to the bus station is also provided. Arigato gozai masu 😊 Look no further, 'cause this is the place that ticks all the boxes! 😍

This was the cherry on top of our Japan trip!

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay though it was a short one. The house was very spacious and clean for both of us and we could prepare our meals with a fully equipped kitchen. We had the most amazing view of Mt Fuji for 2 whole days! Host Hiroyuki was also very helpful and fetched us to and fro Kawaguchiko station, even on the last day even though we hadn’t requested in advance. A great stay! 💯 recommend!

The Villa is a 6-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchico and Mt. Fuji. The Villa is clean and maintained and had utensils if one wants to cook and dine in. Most of all, Hiroyuki-san is the most gracious host. He fetched us when we missed the bus going back to the villa and refused payment. He also asked us if we had a ride the next day to wherever we were going. He also fetched us from the station and took us back.

Lovely place and lovely staff. The place is clean, spacious, very well equipped. They even provided seasonings if you plan on cooking. Amazing view of Fujisan. Great location, right near the leak and very close to the Momiji Corridor if you're visiting during foliage season. The shuttle service is very convenient. When we went on a day trip and arrived back at the station rather late, the bus to Villa Ensoleille has already stopped, I messaged Hiroyuki (the receptionist) hoping he could come pick us up from the station. Very thankful that he replied back right away and came to the station in no time despite our sudden request. Highly reccommend.

Villa Ensoleille is a very awesome place to stay with family and friends. 101% fully recommended!

The owner came and fetch us from the train station on the day we arrived. He also brought us to the supermarket nearby so that we could buy food stuff to cook during our stay. Villa Ensoleille is fully equipped with modern facilities, from the best kitchen equipments & utensils, comfy bedroom and bathroom with jacuzzi. The villa is also just a walking distance from Lake Kawaguchiko, a perfect location for anyone to stay in Fujikawaguchiko! On any good weather we could see Fujisan from our bedroom balcony and bathroom. This is a plus point staying at this villa. We had a great time, 3 days 2 nights in Fujikawaguchiko. Thanks to the friendly owner of the villa and we appreciate it very much for their kind hospitality rendered to us during our stay. Thank you Hiro-san and to your mom and dad.

Just for improvement, perhaps it is best to have an instruction written in English for non Japanese speaking for all the electrical equipment especially the air-conditioned controller.
