The "Highland Hideaway" cottage/home was the perfect escape from the noisy city. The kids loved the location, the puppies loved the backyard and the neighborhood hike. So close to Prescott dining and nightlife. The owners are super responsive and did everything imaginable to make our stay peaceful and hospitable. We plan to return and make Highland Hideaway a part of our annual tech detox for as long as possible.

House is super clean and very up to date . Was perfect for 3 couples and one dog. The visit from the deer family was a great bonus.

Came up for the Christmas festival with two other couples and one dog. The house was decorated for Christmas, the yard was nice for our dog. We had deer that visited every day and ate apples right out of your hand. We were able to walk to town to the festival and we all had a wonderful stay.

Very quiet neighborhood with great view of stars at night. House is very spacious and basement was perfect for a little private space. Well stocked kitchen plenty of room to relax. Close to downtown and easy to get to Goldwater for a walk in the woods.

Loved the neighborhood, the home and the backyard. We were visiting my Aunt who lives in Prescott. It was her 100th Birthday. We walked every morning to downtown and back. The house is in a great location. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
PS...We only cooked 1 day, but what an incredibly stocked kitchen. Full of spices, well appointed pans & serving dishes.

Delightful time in Prescott for those of us who have moved away. The house is perfect for a group of four women It has three bathrooms! The location was terrific....three of our group grew up within walking distance of the house and we had lovely walks remembering events from our childhoods.
The house is ideally situated for exploring Prescott.

My family and I were looking for a convenient VRBO for our Prescott getaway. This house has it all and is close to town. The backyard is serene and quiet. We loved seeing all of the deer and enjoyed beautiful walks around the neighborhood. This place is gem! We will definitely be back!

This home is perfectly located close to downtown and situated in a beautiful neighborhood. 3 adult couples stayed here very comfortably, enjoyed morning coffee outside with the deer nibbling on the trees and the birds chirping away. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely farmhouse style, clean. 3 couples so we loved the 3 bd 3 bath. Only comment would be small mirrors over sinks in bathrooms. Would be nice to have wall mirrors or full length in bedrooms. Outdoor seating was great and peaceful. Saw deer! Close to town. Overall was relaxing and just right for us.

Super easy checkin process and very accommodating host. We walked to downtown for dinner one night and enjoyed the awesome backyard the second night. Even had some javalina and deer make and appearance

I loved the backyard! It was so relaxing sitting outside enjoying my cup of coffee. I feel like I need to book again during spring time to enjoy all the greenery. My children loved the game room. Truly, every detail was thought of, everything you would need was available at hand already. Thank you for letting my family and I enjoy a relaxed weekend.

Spacious 3beds 3 baths. Just perfect for the three of us. Fully equipped kitchen, towels etc.
Returning to Prescott we will be requesting another stay.
The wild life amazing. Buck, coyotes, doe, javalina, approximately 20 roamed the property and neighborhood.

This property was perfect for 3 couples as everyone had their own comfortable space. We were visiting Prescott for a wedding. The house is tastefully decorated and very cozy. We will definitely book it again if we find ourselves back in Prescott.

The property was clean and well stocked, they even decorated for the holidays for us to make it extra special for our vacation! Not overly done, which was perfect. They left us a bottle of wine to start the weekend! We saw lots of wildlife, which was so wonderful! Kitchen appliances were upgraded and nice. As previous landlords of mountain properties ourselves, we recognize the effort and quality that goes into it. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Cozy, comfortable home in great central location for hiking and downtown dining. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good communication with the hosts. Would love to stay again when the weather is a bit warmer so we could take advantage of the awesome backyard which was very convenient for our dog. Saw both deer and javelina, so we almost felt like we were staying in the country. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we lacked nothing when preparing our dinners. We appreciated having access to a dog kennel so we didn't have to bring our own. Overall good experience.

The house in nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. New up-to-date accommodations, comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back when we can enjoy the outdoor space.

We enjoyed staying in this very clean, well appointed home. Every morning we woke up to deer roaming near by. The king bed was VERY comfortable and each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom. The backyard was very nicely done and just perfect to relax and hang out in.
We would definitely stay in this home again.

We came here to celebrate my mom’s 81st birthday with family. The house is even better than the pix. We were so comfortable, and there are many areas to relax and visit in. We had a huge feast, and the kitchen and dining area are well stocked. Check in/out couldn’t have been easier. Thank you for a wonderful time!! We will be back when we visit Prescott again!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 weeks this summer and enjoyed every minute of it. Well maintained and nicely decorated. It had everything you could want in a vacation home and more. Very clean and comfortable. The large, fenced backyard was a plus, with outdoor furniture and a grill. The owners were pleasant and easy to deal with if we had any questions. We’ll be back!
