is quite dated

poor lighting in the bedrooms, the garage parking was very narrow. there was only one shelf in the oven. some of the crockery was chipped.

The knifes in the kitchen are very old and not sharp at all.

The property was well located, had comfortable beds and was very quiet. There was plenty of hot water for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped.
The lighting throughout the property was very poor, especially in the sitting room. There was a lamp which we weren’t able to use as it appeared to be broken.
The open fire was nice to have but need to have some tools eg poker and tongs
One of the beds in the triple room was missing 2 wooden slats under the mattress, a third had come out but we were able to reposition it.
The bathrooms were very dated and the shower curtain rail in the downstairs bedroom was very insecure and fell down on a couple of occasions.
It would have been nice if the room with the double bed had the en-suite.
