The cabin was excellent and in a lovely setting
No safe pathway into town or beach

Location, close to Saltburn, the grounds around the hall are beautiful
Staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful.
Fresh linen on the beds and clean towels available for all occupants
The walk in shower was something to look forward to
Overall the log cabin very good
The complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch as was the dog treats
The mattress was very hard for our liking and you could feel the springs
The entrance porch to the log cabin had a damp smell which a good clean would have cured.
The smoke detector went off at 3am due to a low battery and the unit wasn't replaced until 6pm due to staffing holidays and a wedding function, however it was replaced with a new unit. Very tired the following day. Hard wiring these alarms would solve this issue.
A few signs in the grounds and woods to aid location would be of help.
