Location was great in the tiny sleepy harbour of Nerezine 15minutes drive/bus from the port of Mali Losinj. Great hiking in the mountains behind the hotel and along the coast. A great choice of bars and restaurants in the town but mostly cash only. Supermarket 2 mins away. A small balcony overlooking the sea with sun until about 12pm. Rocky ‘beaches’ close by. Friendly staff.

As the receptionist said this is only a 3 star hotel and so there is no fridge or kettle in the room! The room was so small without sufficient cupboard space to even unpack a suitcase. The room and bathroom were not cleaned properly and the shower cubicle was mouldy. The food in the restaurant was uninspiring. 5 nights too long especially without a car, and not cyclists, local bus efficient but not frequent and taxis very expensive even for a short distance.

we have stayed here numerous times over the last decade, and love the location and charm of the hotel. breakfast is great for a 3-star hotel (excellent fresh bread, always fresh fruit and yoghurt available, etc), as is the view from the sea-facing rooms. staff in bar are very nice and helpful.

the beds are awful - squeaky and extremely uncomfortable (we've slept in many different rooms in the hotel, same problem in all of them) -- in general, the entire hotel needs a bit of a facelift/renovation.
