The room itself was clean but the building and the entrance were a total mess

I booked a double room but somehow only had myself on the booking. when my wife and I arrived the host said the room was not for two and there was an addition price for a second person. £60. I said £60 for an extra shower? This is our 42nd stay on this holiday of Europe. Chances are there will be some unfortunate experiences. additionally the property, while being quite new, were full of clutter making it cramped and uncomfortable. And the fluffy bedding??

An excellent room for a short business trip to Gatwick. I stayed in one of the rooms in the detached bungalow rather than the main house, and this had the advantage of access to a shared kitchen with microwave and fridge. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had a strong and reliable WiFi connection for business communication in the evenings. Gino is a very welcoming host/owner and was at great pains to make sure that I was comfortable throughout the stay. Thank you!

I can't think of anything to improve! Parking was free and easy to access, the property is no more than ten minutes away from Manor Royal, and the room was comfortable and quiet with an ensuite shower/toilet.

The host amazing hopefully and very kind, will definitely come back if come back to the area. Did advice me a place for dine and what an Great place. Thank you Gino 🤩

Looks like that they are doing some renovations and I have very bad allergies, the room was very dusty inside the radiator but everything else very clean.

It was dry.

It was cold, smelly and not the standard I expected from the reviews. The lobby and my room smelled like old, wet dog. The 1 floor landing smelled like cigarette smoke. It was cold and there was no heating control.

Definitely not as photo. I had to pay extra for double room as my dog and l wouldn't have fitted in the single room. Plus on arrival l has to pay extra £8 for dog. The room itself was nice but it isn't for women. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Kitchen is a small room at back. No milk. Really messy. Like a uni Kitchen. I couldn't go into kitchen at night as l was in my nightdress. I was in a small complex with approx 4 other rooms. I think they were all workmen. It's perfect for workmen but not for professional people. Definitely not ladies. I would definitely not feel safe had I'd been alone. No nets up so l had to keep the curtains closed at all times. In shower the only available product was bath foam It's meant to be dog friendly but l was asked if he malts, if he is dirty. Don't let him on the bed. Clean his paws.So it didn't feel particularly friendly. The kitchen Definitely would not pass health n safety standards.

Kitchen, steps into the rooms were dangerous and it had cigarette butt's all over the place. Definitely not worth £95.00. The room was tidy its just a dingy and unsafe place for women

The room was a good size with a small toilet/shower room en suite which was very clean.

The bedding was unusual (nylon fake fur) and very hot as it generated a lot of heat.

Not too sure about the fluffy quilt/pillows and bottom sheets - though warm for the time of year made you sweat badly. Question on how these are cleaned !

The room & facility's were good. Plenty of towels. Facing the garden was nice.

I didn't like the fur bedding. I would have liked it to have been cotton sheets, pillowcases & duvet.

Abrupt owner who clearly has issues with Islam and as a Muslim, I did not feel comfortable.

Gino is a polite host and very accommodating. A late check out at 12 which is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The best part is the rural location with only a 10 minute drive to Gatwick Airport. There are lots of local pubs and food businesses to satisfy.

great room and gino couldn’t do more fore me taxi local food and I didn’t have to do a thing and would highly recommend.

just need a sign of where to go when you arrive if I could be critical.

I think that the owner was so friendly and he also told me some suggestions for the travel to the guesthouse and were I could have eaten

super comfortable with great homely decor. really lovely staff who went above and beyond. really liked the options of lighting.

the bathroom was very small and cold (no heater in icy winter)
