We had a great experience there! Gianna Apartments is a relatively small apartment complex. The unit assigned to us, Apartment A3 is a good-sized unit. The aircon thankfully worked well even in 43° Celcius days. The pool is clean and not so deep so it is not worrisome to let my 7-year old swim there when he's bored with the kids pool. Each room has its own internet sub-router so wifi is strong even in the outdoors. Adonis and his wife are really good, kind and accommodating hosts. Their pool bar offers the best milkshake in Crete 😉. Gianna's Apartments is walking distance to the beach, bakery, supermarkets and restaurants. They have ample parking spaces but can be helpful if you have questions about taxi, car rental and everything else.

Antonis is the perfect host - Greek Hospitality at it's finest. The breakfast is exceptional. Great pool/snack bar and you must try the Raki!

I couldn't fault anyting.

We came for a short 5 day stay in Almyrida for a family memorial. Adonis was exceptionally kind and welcoming, especially after we said our reason for visiting. The facilities and location are perfect, we know the local area very well, we've been coming to this part of Crete for 15 years. We'd recommend staying here to anyone, it's a beautiful place. When Adonis asked about our flight times on the way home, and found out we was flying in the evening, he instantly said we could stay the day free of charge as the rooms weren't being occupied straight afterwards, we did come the last week of April, so it wasn't full, but a nice touch nonetheless. The local Raki & Honey he sells are definitely worth a purchase..... delicious.
