The guesthouse is situated on a nice spot. The staff is very friendly and polite. We appreciated the guided stroll round the guesthouse and at the border of the ricefields. The restaurant serves good dishes and drinks. The bathroom at the guesthouse is spacious and attractive.

We didn't like so much the dark, heavy and brown appearance of the room. We would have had the possibility to make a cup of coffee/tea in the room. The mosquito net had had its best time and looked battered. The bathroom lacks storage options. The wifi was unreliable and weak. You drink a cup espresso at european prices, relative high! Tax and services are at the maximum (20%).

Fabulous location. Easy transport. They arranged a nice driver ( good English) to take me to the next day to the airport. The local town arranged a nice 1.5 hr trek in local rice terraces leaving each morning from the hotel and we can learn a bit about local produce like coffee,Kopi Luwak, cacao,vanilla, fruit etc A couple of local restaurants just outside the hotel. One literally overlooking perfect rice paddies. Also ATM in the road about 50m up the road.

The food was ok, but a bit westernised and a bit limited for local cuisine. Cocktails were a bit disappointing. Bintang would be the best choice.
