Beautiful room with sea view, great restaurant and really kind staff

Everything was great: very clean room, splendid location, right on the beach, good breakfast (even if it was the same every day :)), good WiFi, good dinner. Very quiet location, ideal to just rest and enjoy the beach. Spent two weeks and would have stayed longer :)) Keep in mind that it is a little bit isolated from other points of interest on the island and if you want to travel and don't want to use local means of transportation a rental car would be advisable. By the way, parking is available, free of charge and guarded.

A truly beautiful place where time simply stops and it is simply a pleasure to just be there. Amazing location on the Matemwe beach, all decorated with taste and with plenty of space to simply relax. Excellent breakfasts.

The staff at Villa Kiva were wonderful - friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great and the staff was willing to accommodate our diving schedule and allowed us to start breakfast slightly earlier than they normally open.

The hotel is really beautiful and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and tried everything to make our stay comfortable. The food at restaurant was really tasty and high quality. The beachside area is really scenic.

The breakfast menu was a bit one sided and should be a bit more variable. For dinner the vegetarian option was almost always pasta, this may be improved a bit. However the restaurant staff was very helpful and open to make small changes to the dishes to make sure that they cater to our needs. We are very thankful for this.

this little gem exceeded expectations - charming gardens, a lovely beach to walk and to swim from, close to a few dive companies and kite- boards. the breakfast was delicious, abs the samaki curry the best I have tasted in Tanzania

Breakfast boring, small selection. The pools are small, during the day, they become just like a hot water bath, there is no refresh.

I was not very happy about the kitchen, we were 4 out of 6 who got sick from the food!

Great location, delicious food and very kind and smiling staff. Rooms are very spacious, and the restaurant with the sea view is amazing. Two swimming pools in a gorgeous garden are perfect for relax. Many available excursions. Everything was really perfect!

Absolutely nothing

So far one of the best experiences in my life. The villa has everything you need, starting from the location to the people, to the food, amenities, Wi-Fi, attention to details. I strongly recommend the villa.

The hotel looks better than in pictures, we had an amazing time. The food was really really good and every night there were other 3 options, never the same. Very fresh and tasty food. The pool and the rooms are cleaned regularly. Friendly staff. We booked a room with garden view but we had a better room with balcony and sea view

bathroom and room were super old and not maintained well holes in the mosquito net bed super uncomfortable as the bed itself is not good bathroom the tiles are old and missing but also the grout is dirty and not fresh on wall and floor all the mats on the floor old and worn and don’t look clean

It is placed on one of the most spectacular beaches, easy access to a lot of attractions. we loved the front area where you enjoy the sunrise or sunset, there was an area you could use to relax or practice some Yoga or exercises. manager was friendly and helped us to quicly upgrade one room or with a late check out.

Did not like the poola, were a bit to small, but they are not mandatory as you can priperly enjoy the ocean on this area. there was also an unpleasant smell in some rooms from the restrooms. compared to our first location, here the staff was a bit stressed for all the orders to be signed immediately to become accountable, but is understandable as well as they have many tourists.

Spent 11 nights with my wife in December 2021. Very nice and helpful staff. Great location in front of the beach. Clean rooms with daily cleaning service, also around 8-9pm a quick insect check :) Nice and clean pools in the garden area with towels to use also for beach. Breakfast amazing with lot of fruit, choice from different egg dishes, sausage, juice, coffee, etc Staff help you out to find anything on the island what you need: trips, taxi, shops, public transport
