The description on Booking.com
It isn't like the description on booking.com. There is no pool. There is no breakfast. There is no welcome. There is no WiFi. The cooker does not work ... welll one ring does and the owner tells you to look out for the light going dimmer to show when the cooker is on. The light in the bedroom works only when you bang your head on it.
When you complain the owner shouts at you. When you leave after one night because nothing works they demand payment for both nights. Half the family comes to join in the argument. You agree to pay€100 so you can leave. The card machine doesn't work because the WiFi doesn't work. They tell you to cycle to the ATM ! The daughter takes you to the ATM. At last you can leave!
Nightmare. Dangerous electrics. Grumpy host. I wanted a holiday....

Our hosts were very nice, kind and helpful, we spent amazing time in Santa Chiara. The area is green and there is quite close to Volterra, San Gimignano or to the seaside. You can use swimming pool which is clean and has a nice view. Grazie per la vostra ospitalità! 😊
It's a pity there is no air conditioning, but apart of that all was good.

We like the whole family. Even we don't speak Italian, we could understand each other. They provide us an olive oil and wine. Great experience, great hosts, great cook and authentic Tuscan atmosphere. We will come back!
No AC in the room during summer. I have no other complaints.
