Beautiful building with a stunning old style elevator. Good option for 5 adults, we stayed in the 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment which was large and had lots of beds. The hosts are amazing, very friendly and helpful. Parking places on the back of the building, very convenient. They have the option of having buffet-style breakfast in the lobby.

In the bathrooms there are not hooks o hangers for the towels, neither a place to put your toiletries and clothes

The appartment was all dirty and untidy, many pieces of room equipment was broken (for example you can not close the door in the bathroom, broken kettle). After our complaints they tried to repair at least some basic things and they also cleaned the room.

lovely old building so characterful . We stayed on the 3rd floor which is accessed by an old style elevator. I loved the old furniture and high ceilings . The staff were super friendly and obliging . The location is excellent with the 758 passing the door and the metro and tram line less that 5 minutes down the hill . There is a lovely park near the Agua Museum ( great views from the top ) with a gorgeous kiosk selling fantastic coffee , pastries and fresh orange juice .

Shower needs attention in the en suite . Tiles are coming away and very slippy when showering as water goes everywhere .

I would recommend this property to any group of friends going abroad together. It was great value for money. We had the apartment on the top floor with the balcony, which was heaven in the evenings. The apartment was large, with a good fridge/freezer and quick working hob. Showers were clean and nice. Plenty of towels were provided. Strong Wi-Fi and good AC. It's in a convenient location (being next to a metro station; which in itself is SO EASY to navigate). The hosts were lovely when we first arrived, providing us with a map and some useful tips on where to go and where to avoid.

I believe this is only the case for the top floor apartment, but some of the ceilings are slanted by design which, if you're tall like me, means you will bump you're head if you're not paying attention. Also, we had to plug the toaster into a plug outlet in the living room because we couldn't find a spare one in the kitchen. However, these are NOT major things and should not distract from what is an apartment for good money :)
