Le bungalow Babbling Brook a été achevé en août 2017 et est adjacent à notre nouvelle maison et situé au-dessus de notre garage. Vous aurez votre propre entrée et place de parking. Le grand espace vous offre un nouveau lit queen avec une literie de luxe et une commode, un canapé-lit double dans le coin salon et une cuisine entièrement équipée avec une table à manger. Une cafetière Keurig et une sélection de thés, cafés et eau pétillante sont fournis pour votre confort.
Le bungalow est situé dans le village de Cheshire. Vous pourrez vous promener au Cheshire Fitness Club pour une séance d'entraînement ou une baignade et réserver un court au Cheshire Racquet Club pour une partie de tennis. De l'autre côté de la route et juste une courte mais jolie promenade, se trouve le Cheshire Village Center avec de bons restaurants, un vin et un café et un marché gastronomique.

It’s the perfect size for one or two people. Clean, very close to town, well appointed kitchen with tons of free snack goodies. Parking is tight.

This property was fantastic and met every need. The location, cleanliness, and amenities were perfect. It was better than advertised because of Jean. She is such a warm and friendly host. We were welcomed by homemade cookies upon our arrival! I recommend staying and will stay her again if I am back in the area.

Had a great time! Loved this location. Great for spending a day in Asheville or walking around Black Mountain. We did both. Lodgings were simple and perfect, and we will definitely bookmark this place to come again.

Our hosts were always happy to say hello when we saw them around the property. The kitchenette had everything we needed and was well stocked with snacks. There were even dog treats and extra doggie bags when we arrived. Do note that the bungalow is above a garage and there is some occasional rumbling from the door, but it was not an issue for us.

Met Jean and Doug when I was first arriving. They were so friendly and guided me to various restaurants and coffee shops to experience in town and Ashville. We had fresh baked cookies along with a well stocked frig of local beers and beverages to try. They even had a little treat bag for our Samoyed. The cottage is cozy and bed is really comfortable. The neighborhood has beautiful walking trails and a dog park/ fire pit if you wanted to hangout. Absolutely will be staying here again. Close to downtown Black Mountain and a short drive to Ashville. If you’re a big mountain biker some of the best trails are less than 20 min away.

We loved our stay at this property. The owners do go above and beyond with amenities (snacks, drinks, toiletries, homemade cookies!!) which really makes a difference. Really clean and comfortable. Of note- owners do live right next door and the place is above their garage so not the most private if that is a priority.

This carriage apartment was wonderful for our two-night stay. Modern, clean & comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. Coffee and snack treats were a great touch. I would definitely stay again if I’m Black Mountain again.

We loved our time at this property, and it was really nice to have just about everything we needed already stocked in the home (plenty of coffee/TP/Paper Towels/soap/etc).
Our little pup enjoyed the walks on the path right across the street as well.

We plan on visiting the Black Mtn area a lot over the next few years. Finding Jean and Dougs place was a great surprise. The place is beautiful! Has everything you need and more. We’re looking forward to many more stays at Babbling Brooke. Cheers

We really loved Jean and Doug’s place! It was in such a great location to downtown black mountain, and a 15-20 min drive into Asheville. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was beautiful, and very safe. We walked the little babbling brook which was just a very small trail but perfect for an evening stroll.
Host was very easy to communicate with and had some great little touches waiting when we arrived. We loved our stay!

We so enjoyed our second stay at the Babbling Brook Bungalow. The bungalow is very clean, nicely decorated, well stocked, and located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, just outside downtown Black Mountain and not far from Asheville. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. We look forward to our next return to our favorite VRBO.

This little bungalow was perfect for our needs. It is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with just about anything you might want or need. There are lots of trails to walk and fun things to do close by. Jean and Doug are excellent hosts!

The apartment was over a garage and had a babbling brook right outside our window. We opened our window a crack and you could her the water rushing by.
It was convenient to downtown Black mtn.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! If you are looking for an immaculate place to stay that is right in the middle of the mountains in a beautiful neighborhood, with walking trails and wonderful hosts then this is the place for you. The hosts did such a wonderful job with lots of little extras. It is not a question of if I will be back but when! The place is so clean and you can see the mountains out of every window. I loved all of the great restaurants in Black Mountain and Asheville is just down the road! I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

What a fantastic stay we had at the bungalow! Check in was very easy, and the host was able to offer us early check-in. The studio is incredibly clean, and has everything you will need. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies, and a binder filled with information about the area. The kitchen is well stocked with water, coffee, tea and a loaded snack basket. We particularly enjoyed the microwave popcorn!
Located about one mile from downtown Black Mountain we were only a short drive away from local shopping and restaurants. We recommend Ole's Guacamoles for some great Mexican fare.
The hosts were very lovely and communicative during our stay. This place is at the top of my favorites list, and it's definitely a repeater!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this property. We will choose this property again. Jean and Doug provided the perfect clean and quiet rental with many amenities and things to do close by. We enjoyed the homemade cookies and our dog loved the special dog biscuits too. This property is located in a quiet development with a babbling brook right outside our window. The bungalow is the space above the owners garage that is detached from the house. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything you would need, even fresh baked cookies. It was quiet and relaxing! The drive to the downtown area of Black Mountain is just a minute down the road, literally. Much better than staying in a hotel! We will definitely be back! Jean and Doug were great to communicate with (which wasn’t that much since they made staying at their property so easy). Thank you for a great Veteran’s Day weekend!

This is a lovely studio size apartment with everything you need. There is a beverage stocked fridge, snack basket, and coffee & tea station. Microwave & cooktop/oven. Upon arrival there was even home baked cookies! I felt very safe in this neighborhood and enjoyed the close proximity of restaurants, a walking trail and grocery store as well as DT Black Mountain.

Jean and Doug could not have provided us with a better experience during our weekend stay! They included so many little personalized touches, including homemade cookies, that it felt like a home away from home. We were able to meet Jean and Doug and they were so sweet and friendly and tried to make our trip the best they could. Our pup loved the treats left for us in our room and the fenced in dog park in the community! Could not recommend this rental enough and will absolutely stay here again for our next trip!!

Spacious, clean and convenient...and home baked cookies all add up to perfection in my book.
Traveling alone on business, I need to feel safe and comfortable, this little nest provided me with those key elements, allowing me to crash at the end of a busy day in comfort.
I did not have the luxury of sleeping in late which might be of interest to those who are late sleepers...this unit is above a garage and you do hear the garage door open when the owners leave. That would be really the ONLY thing that could potentially be an issue for vacationers.

This was the perfect little apartment for our stay. It was big enough to move around in with a kitchen we could have definitely cooked in if we'd have stayed longer. The hosts had everything we would need - water, tea, coffee, cream, a few snacks, etc. so that we didn't immediately have to find a grocery upon arrival, plus delicious home baked cookies. The code lock on the door made check in and check out super easy. The hosts definitely thought of everything you might need.

The little village in walking distance was a nice advantage. The loft is well appointed and other than the bears we saw rummaging, the neighborhood is very quite! Would definitely rent again!

The bungalow over the garage was the perfect size, super clean and comfortable. Kitchenette had all essentials including mid-size refrigerator stocked w/ welcoming beverages. Special touch included homemade cookies & dog treats from local pet boutique with a welcome binder full of suggestions to nearby hikes and attractions. The location was perfect distance from the center of the charming Black Mountain community. Doug provided excellent restaurant suggestions. Big Piney trailhead and Montreat minutes away. I especially enjoyed the rocking chair and ceiling fan when we returned to recharge after morning hikes as well as the shaded, wooded dog park within the picturesque Cheshire village community. There is a short, easy path along the brook & we enjoyed seeing the deer in early morning. The bungalow is within walking distance to 2 restaurants that were pet- friendly. Both had excellent food, service & outdoor dining. Center of town is super, quaint minutes away with several artisan shops and by far the most pet friendly I have visited. Loved the red rockers throughout the "little town that loves to rock". It was a great get-a-way for these gals & hope to return in the Fall.
