Super friendly and helpful staff and always looking for ways to improve. Very relaxed vibe at the hostel and we loved the area of the hostel.

Location is good.

This is a hostel run by a bunch of young guys and that’s how it feels. More of a frat house than a hostel. Cleanliness isn’t great. Amenities are present but in poor shape (eg. the pool). Loud music until the wee hours the days around and including the weekend. I am sure the guys try to do their best at providing hospitality, but make no mistake, it’s a pretty rickety place and service.

This hostal was a haven from the intensity of San Miguel de Tucuman...very nice young staff, some of whom love to practice their english. It is in a very safe feeling, grassy and tree lined residential area, with cafes, shops, a store, and restaurants a few blocks away...as a single female traveler in my 40's I felt safe and welcome here. Overall a great deal for $10 a nite, with a pool for cooling off in the daytime, and great pizza at the bar in the back on nights it is open. At times the music is very loud late into the night but I was lucky to have a room to myself and with the door closed and the fan on it was muy tranquilo!! The kitchen is functional, not super clean. Has a nice bathroom and shower that is usually clean, but the workers seem to be all young men, so don't expect perfection!!

Could definitely use a thorough cleaning-the rooms and the sheets are a bit stinky!! New couches and new pillows!!But then again, I am a mom and a woman, and a bit picky...overall this is a great place with great and friendly folks and is well integrated into the neighborhood...I came for a nite and stayed for 4...
