Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt und würden wiederkommen.
Leider sind einige Dinge etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müssten mal ersetzt oder repariert werden (vor allem am Pool). Insgesamt gibt es aber eigentlich nichts auszusetzen.

The staff was excellent, everyone took such a good care of us, check in and check out were done perfectly, the pick-up from the airport is well organised, the breakfast was excellent. The Internet connection was also reliable. The location was amazing. Recommendations from the hotels regarding organised tours to Chan Chan, Moon Temple and El Brujo, was really valuable, we have fantastic guided tours thanks to the hotel recommendation. Also restaurant that hotel staff recommended were top notch. We really enjoyed our stay.
Very minor and personal issue, I love to have yogurt for breakfast, it may be a good idea to feature also natural, not only flavoured ones, just an idea.

La habitación: amplia, cómoda, bien decorada, muy bien equipada.
La ducha. Han habilitado un gabinete de ducha. Me pareció muy reducido el espacio y no se entiende la finalidad de ello, pues había área suficiente para tener una ducha más amplia y cómoda.

The first room we were in was comfy, clean and it had everything that was listed but the second room we were in was my favorite! It had a massage chair, AC, TV, big hot tub plus everything that was listed and the staff members were very nice and accommodating! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Trujillo!
I wasn't aware that the exchange rate charged by the hotel was 4 soles per 1 USD (regular price anywhere else at the time of payment was 3.7 soles per 1 USD). If I had known, I'd have just paid in USD. However, the hotel did a lot to make up for that miscommunication.

Good shower, big towels
Noisy. Internal rooms around an atrium meant that sleep was difficult as guests arrived and left throughout the night and staff chatted.

Excellent location, room was very clean and comfortable, parking slot was reserved even when we arrive late, staff is nice and attentive to details. Great fresh breakfast prepared on the moment, Covid measures very well Implemented and followed all the time. We really enjoyed our stay at Gran Recreo Hotel, thanks.
