We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romantisches Hotel in Schwerin. The staff were truly exceptional.
Harold immediately came to our rescue and carried our two heavy cases to the top floor into our bedroom. We were greeted with smiles and good humour. The breakfasts were amazing in quality, variety, and artistic presentation. Our accommodation was very clean. The bed and the bedding, duvet and pillows were high quality and snug. The location was ideal for visiting the castle and museum and restaurants and marina. There is a lovely rear garden where one can relax. Highly recommended.
What I didn't like was having to go home.

The couple owning the hotel are super sweet and helpful. The food was prepared fresh each morning and with good variety.
The hotel offers a very close proximity to the city center, but at an affordable price.
With two small kids, a stroller and no elevator, it was a bit difficult to get to the room at the top of the hotel each day.

The breakfast is super, innovative and varying, something very nice for a change, compared to normal hotel breakfasts. The owner was also very helpful in carrying my luggage up the stairs.
