. Rooms were nice & clean.
. The gentleman there who checked us in was friendly.

. Breakfast - kids just went for 1breakfast , we skipped the other 3. and that was a disaster.
Breakfast- not good, my daughter got sick with the salmon; and the Woman/owner was very defensive and walked into our room not to offer empathy but to state that it is NOT the salmon or food they offered.
my daughter was unwell, and called reception to request a slight extension to checkout (after booking for 4nights!) - again rudely received by the same woman/owner who bluntly said NO!
I feel hospitality does not exist.
Rooms (although clean & nice) were VERY HOT - no air circulation no AC or Fan.
windows open slightly, so often sat near it or left main door to room open.

The room is clean, bed is comfortable, breakfast is delicious, staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it.

The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The location was superb.
A couple of areas in the house looked a little tired e.g carpets fraying and coming away from the floor.

Quiet room, exceptionally clean, recently refurbished. Excellent location. Good parking and free too. Would definitely stay here again. Good breakfast too.

Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice, all you have to do is ask. Excellent location, just a short stroll to the centre of town and close to the river.
Room was a bit overheated and was difficult to cool it down, but windows opened easily to let fresh air in.

Very cosy place, clean and has everything you need. Free parking was available which I appreciated a lot. The breakfast was very tasty and made to order(not the usual buffet that you get in hotel chains).
The double room I had, was on the first floor was on the smaller side but had a roof window which brought a lot of light into the room.
The only thing I didnt like was the power shower with low water pressure.

Location, excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bedside lamps not easy to reach from bed, could do with a cord pull type as too high on wall. Shower head didn't fit properly on holder but worked fine.

The room was very cosy and warm. Lovely building great location.
Breakfast room needs to be more welcome no interior design looked boring in such a lovely big room childrens toys about prams. Sign outside is very old need replacing could see the name drive passed it

The hotel was spotlessly clean, all the rooms were well furnished, the hotel looks fairly newly refurbished ,the beds were very very comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning made to order. Only 10 minutes walk from town
We had a room at the back of the hotel so very quiet . There is a main road in front of the hotel which may be a little noisy if your room is at the front, but don’t know how loud it got at night time and i wasn’t at the front

The information sheet was missing from my room and I had to go to the reception to get the wifi password.

The room was ok, small but it was a single so ok. The shower was a tight fit and crammed in but power was ok. Reasonable facilities for making a cup of tea/coffee. Small TV on the wall a bit precarious but again adequate. Very nice location very near to a large park.
Unfortunately the people in the next room decided to have an abusive shouting match and ended up smashing god knows what before one of them stormed off down the corridor at around 23:00, somewhat annoying i have to say.

Staff were very friendly. Room was a good size and had a fan in it which was helpful as it was very warm! Breakfast was good with an option for cooked breakfast. Clean and tidy and had tea and coffee facilties in the room too. Brilliant location,short walk to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

if I had to say something maybe the stairs, they’re steep and there’s lots of them but as this is a traditional beautifully built building it’s expected

lovely and clean, with convenient location
the bed in my room sloped down to the headboard so I had to move the pillows to the other end, with it being an open end, once or twice throughout the night the pillows fell off.
but the bed was very comfortable AAA

A perfectly acceptable stay meeting out requirements and expectations.
Room 11's bathroom door needs attention; it's not easy to close, it's noisy and is clearly rubbing. It needs adjusting/replacing or some wood shaving off.
During breakfast the atmosphere was spoilt by an apparent rush for a staff member to clear the table next to us which was done at speed and very noisily. This was unnecessary and inconsiderate to us the paying guest.
